There was Bingo on the Prinsendam as recently as yesterday. I didn't win.:(

 

It was run by the Assistant Cruise Director.

HAL does take a 'cut' from the Bingo games for passengers plus many of them buy the "win a cruise" lottery and the "win a cruise" bingo. I'm not sure how much money they make on it though which is why I asked.

 

Didn't know they had games for the crew though, too. Nice :)

We were on Zuiderdam last month for the Viking Passage cruise. Plenty of bingo with large prizes.

Bingo normally at 3pm in the theater on sea days (but not necessarily every sea day). I won twice on Maasdam in May. Winnings are credited to your shipboard account.

OP, sounds like you may be mistakin'.. bingo appears to be pretty consistently offered on most HAL sailings (including all of ours).. ;):)

This is what I was thinking -- we've been cruising since the mid-1980's. If there is one thing that has been consistent on all of or cruises over many lines it has been bingo -- that is a huge money maker for the lines. I'd be very surprised if they stopped doing it.
