Rare NorbertsNiece Posted November 30, 2018 Author #76 Share Posted November 30, 2018 The sausages were delicious. I should've questioned whether they were GF. There's a shop has stuff you may have forgotten
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted November 30, 2018 Author #77 Share Posted November 30, 2018 I have never attended a M&M that was so well attended. Short talk from Cruise Director and Hotel Director and a good amount of raffle prizes provided by RCL. Awesome amount of gifts exchanged. What a headache for those who organised it. We didn't get around to organising a cabin crawl. We were hurried out of the lounge because of the 'art' auction.
creel5857 Posted November 30, 2018 #78 Share Posted November 30, 2018 Thank you so much for the pictures and updates. We hope to see and hear more. We are going to be on Vision Jan 5 out of New Orleans. We have been on several Princess and Holland trips but have not sailed Royal C before and have been appreciative for all your posts. Thanks again for pictures of any sights around ship as we are also attempting to acclamate a few other senior citizens who will be with us on upcoming trip......some who have never cruised at all .........so your pictures and general comments will help them to get a feel of things. We did Panama Canal back in Dec on Holland and loved it so we hope you have a great trip.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted November 30, 2018 Author #79 Share Posted November 30, 2018 @creel5857There's art all around the ship. On stairways, walls, even in the casino! This is in the corridor near my room. I'll see if there's any info available about this. There's often a theme for different decks, port / starboard. Rare NorbertsNiece Posted November 30, 2018 Author #80 Share Posted November 30, 2018 I was gifted a BBC by a barman earlier. I'm not good with alcohol but I do adore a Bailey's. I have been back to my room to sleep it off!!!

Ashland Posted December 1, 2018 #82 Share Posted December 1, 2018 The picture you posted of the breakfast buffet...was that in the main dining room in addition to the menu?...Hopefully that wasn't the Wind Jammer. Do you mind taking a pic of the WJ if you can. Will be on the Vision in May (Med/Greece) and have not been on her since she left the west coast (San Pedro) doing the Mexican itineraries.

Rare NorbertsNiece Posted December 1, 2018 Author #85 Share Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) First formal night. Pics flying up tonight. Clocks go forward one hour. Cabo tomorrow. Not sure what I'll do. Not particularly fond of tenders. May chill on board. There'll be a film shown later in the cruise that describes what was done in the dry dock. Will take notes. Reading matter below. Compass Day 3.pdf Edited December 1, 2018 by NorbertsNiece

Rare NorbertsNiece Posted December 1, 2018 Author #87 Share Posted December 1, 2018 Outside the casino is a digital route map. It's quite high up on the wall. Bit odd the location. Scrolls through the whole route. See Bill's thread for pics of the show tonight. I don't generally go to shows on board but these guys were really quite good.
Rare NorbertsNiece Posted December 1, 2018 Author #88 Share Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) Hi. Four time changes this voyage. Three forward and one back. I don't even know what day it is. Walking a mile this morning then aquarobics. Still not sure if I'm going ashore today. I'll wait until the crowd get off and decide then. 7 tenders running, 4 ship 3 shore. Starts at 1130 ish. 80°F. I thought they would've started putting up decorations by now. I've sailed directly after Thanksgiving before now and the tree's been up! Any questions? I've asked for info from Guest Services with regards to the Art around the ship. Poor girl had a hard time getting her head around the fact that I didn't mean Park West. Have to say I'm so grateful they don't announce over the PA. Casino has already paid out 2 Jackpots this trip. $20k and $40k. I spent my 3 complimentary gold coins and won nothing! It's not a large Casino. Always busy day and night. But the cigarette smoke!! 🤢 Formal night last night.....dining room was awash with glitter and glamour. Spotted a ball gown. Stunning. Rare NorbertsNiece Posted December 1, 2018 Author #91 Share Posted December 1, 2018 (edited) @AshlandWJ breakfast pics. They don't have cartons of chocolate. They poured me a large one. Feel obliged to drink it now! More pics later. There are plenty of self serve drinks stations as well as servers coming round to assist. Just resisted some amazing looking doughnuts being offered around. Think the bandwidth or whatever it's called is currently being overworked. Very, very slow. Always a line at the VOOM desk. voyager70 Posted December 1, 2018 #97 Share Posted December 1, 2018 Loving the blog and pics Linda, thank you! Interesting that they still have Ceasar salad on the MDR menu. Wondering where they are getting their Romaine lettuce from.

Rare NorbertsNiece Posted December 1, 2018 Author #100 Share Posted December 1, 2018 First time I've sailed with lifeguards by the pools. They're rotated regularly. Turning off syncing was my cleverest idea to date.
