Is there an Elite lounge on the Emerald Princess?

There is no specific dedicated lounge for Elite passengers on any Princess ship.

All offer the PES lounge in the evenings (Platinum, Elite, Suite) for two or so hours. It's held in one of the lounges onboard. Snacks and discounted specialty drinks.

On our Emerald cruises, it's been in either Club Fusion or Skywalkers...

It was in club fusion on our Feb 2 cruise. Since the drinks of the day are not something we would enjoy we pretty much stopped going.

Besides with early seating at 5 pm really did not want any apps even earlier.

I agree! Big mistake to change the drinks.

From the passenger viewpoint, it was a big mistake.

From the Princess viewpoint, it could mean increased profits with attendees paying full price for a drink they prefer.

Of course it makes no difference to those with the beverage package as it is no additional cost either way.

no longe for Elites. There is from 5PM to 7PM an area set aside for elites. It is up in Skywalkers with daily drink special and appetizers . This for Elite and Suite passengers only. Sometimes they allow you to bring quests but depends on number of Elites onboard.

We had it in Club Fusion for 28 days. On that cruise we had the free beverage package and drank what we pleased. Of the "new" drinks the only one I order is the Mayan Mule. Like a Moscow Mule but made with Tequila. My wife tried one of the new drinks that was blue. It tasted a bit like mouthwash...

That's pretty much why we don't bother either. If it were open until 10 PM we might stop by for a drink but they shut it down much to early for us.

Another couple not thrilled with the hours.  The only time we visited the elite lounge was on a night that we were not thrilled with what was being offered on the menu in in the MDR.  After the lounge we then picked up dinner at the Grill.

We stopped going a few years ago (on any ship) for several reasons.  There is only a slight discount on a handful of specialty drinks....none of which are my passion.  And the snacks served on most evenings are hardly worth the hassle of going to the lounge...although there are sometimes a half-decent offering.  And finally, the time of the function does not normally work with our own schedule since we tend to stay on deck until pretty late and dine late.

When we've gone to the PES lounge, it was basically because  cruise friends had ask us to meet them there to have  a relaxing place to sit around and chat for a while before dinner.   :classic_wink:
