Everything... Norwegian Joy's Westernization 2019!

Recommended Posts

Everything looks pretty cool.  Interesting they removed the bumper cars and spa. If I were considering an Alaskan cruise, I would never consider the Joy and always pick Bliss because of the spa.  Soaking in the warm spa with Alaskan views just would win me over every time.  I actually like how the Local lost the dark wood pub feel and looks modern.

Totally agree on the Spa...

Although, I would probably opt for a Jewel Class...

I read somewhere that on other NCL ships, the height limit for go-cart is 50"? My son is shorter than 55" but higher than 50". He will be very disappointed.

Here’s what I grabbed from Galaxy Pavilion yesterday.  It sounds like you’ll need to reserve a time slot, which will give you 90 minutes to explore all the virtual attractions.  The cost is maybe $15?

Hi! I have a cabin booked below the Galaxy Pavilion. Do you think it will be loud in there. I wouldn't think so, but want your opinion. TIA😊

I don’t think it would be a problem.  There’s not much running around, and with reservations I would expect it’s typically people either sitting in simulators or waiting for the next one.
