Haven't been on a RCCL cruise since 2014 so could you please share the current Diamond perks. Many Thanks.

Rare lazydayz Posted April 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted April 9, 2019 Loved the suite perks on the Allure. All day access to Coastal Kitchen, which includes beer and wine, as well as access to the Suite Sun Deck. This was so nice we never ventured to the Diamond Club. For the suite party, it was cocktails on the helipad. Reserved seats at all the shows. Escorted departure from the ship. Hope you enjoy as much as we did!

The Scurvy Pirate Posted April 10, 2019 #5 Share Posted April 10, 2019 Is a GS (or higher) you don't have to worry about checking the "beautiful blue" RCI towels in and out and won't be charged the $25 if you forget to turn one in.
sonogal Posted April 10, 2019 #6 Share Posted April 10, 2019 (edited) For CLS, will we have access to free bottled water? If so, I will cancel our water package we bought. Also, other than the royal genie, deluxe beverages, and specialty restaurants, what differences are there between sky and star class? I've read the info online but curious on personal experiences. We got free bottled water on Oasis. It was in the suite lounge.

sandebeach Posted April 10, 2019 #11 Share Posted April 10, 2019 One of the best perks is that you do not have to make reservations for the shows, just go 30 minutes early and you will be seated in the Suites area. I love not having to plan my shows days/weeks in advance!

Agreed, if I sail this class again I am certainly going to try to do so with the suite life 🙂

On the Allure it’s the first three rows behind the booth where the audio is controlled, center section, main floor in the main theater. There will be a person on each side checking seapass cards to make sure you are a suite guest. About 10-15 minutes before the show starts they will release the empty seats to the general public. They did not let non suite guests in before that. In the Aqua Theater, it’s center section about 1/2 way up. There are people there to check your seapass and they do release the empty seats before showtime. The last several times we've sailed it has been in a GS or OS. Because our vacations are few and far between we don't mind the splurge and we definitely have enjoyed the experience...extra space and extra perks. Some of the extra perks over the years have included: special treats delivered to our cabin, concierge availability to make arrangements for dinners or other events, early departures on port days and disembarkation day, private area/luncheon on Labadee & Coco Cay, designated suite areas for shows, the nightly cocktail reception in the lounge, and the list goes on. We've only been on an Oasis class ship once before (Oasis 4 years ago) and LOVED the Suite Lounge/Coastal Kitchen access (much different from the Concierge lounge on older ships). We will be sailing on Allure in Feb 2020 in our first CLS, so looking forward to that experience as well as refreshing our memories on suite perks and learning others (either new since our last sailing or specific to Allure). Thank you for starting this thread! 🙂 Edited April 11, 2019 by SuzD123

princesslondon Posted May 3, 2019 #19 Share Posted May 3, 2019 Great info! We are doing a GS on Allure in June and this thread was super helpful! We just did NCL Breakaway in The Haven, so it'll be interesting to see how it compares.
CasinoCruzGirl Posted May 3, 2019 #20 Share Posted May 3, 2019 We are booked in a crown loft suite. Just bid on aqua 2 bedroom. Differences are crown loft is sky class and aqua 2 bedroom is star. I have stayed in a garden villa on NCL I think the aqua suite compares nicely to the GV. Will wait and see what happens
Rare Teeara Posted May 3, 2019 #21 Share Posted May 3, 2019 I booked a GS for our Allure WB TA next year and I am really looking forward to all the perks (not to mention the space!).

They don't care so much if you are taking drinks out as you are leaving the lounge for dinner. However, if you are coming into the the lounge every 10 minutes and taking a drink out, they may ask you to stop.

In the past, we've never had problems in taking drinks from the lounge to dinner. It sounds like that is no different. However, SL daytime beverage access (outside of the coffee/espresso machines) is new for us so we're trying to figure out the nuances. I think the policy for the daytime beverage access in the Oasis Suite Lounges is very relaxed. They had no problem giving us bottled water and beer to go, even asking if we wanted one for the road. Of course, this is the sort of thing that can vary widely, even cruise to cruise.
