CLUB ROYALE - CLARIFY FREE CRUISE OFFER RULES

Recommended Posts

It varies depending on what you play.  Slots tend to get points quicker than tables due to tables are manually counted.

Let's say you play $800 in slots but do the lose/win battle for a couple hours you could end up prime in one night.    Most times it takes me about $1000 to $1500 to become prime.

Gets me free cruise offers almost every Monday, free drinks from casino bar and 30% off internet.

When you call, realize that if your comped cruise offer code does not provide for a cabin category that supports 3 people in your cabin, then to add a third person, you will have to pay an upgrade fee to be placed in a cabin that does support 3 passengers.

Many people are comp'ed into balconies and suites that accommodate 3 passengers.

How much does someone have to lose / donate to the Royal Caribbean executive bonus pool in order qualify for a free cruise?

Something to consider, on some cruises, over 25% of the adult passengers on the ship are sailing on a casino comp or discount. These could be offers from Casino Royale or land-based casinos giving out free cruise certificates. As you walk down the hall, every 4th door is sailing with the casino.

On our Alaska cruise a couple of months ago, it was more like 19%. Since Alaska is one of the more expensive itineraries, fewer full comps are given out. And many players will not sail without a full comp.

@Sunshine mentioned benefits of being a Prime member. Royal Caribbean is currently offering some Prime members free Junior Suites on the Freedom, Grandeur, Liberty, Mariner, Independence, Radiance and Navigator on select sailings October - December, as an example.

Casino Royale Tiers:

  • Choice: 1 – 2,499 points.
  • Prime: 2,500 – 24,99 points
  • Signature: 25,000 – 99,999 points.
  • Masters: 100,000+ points.

Depending on your Tier, some of the casino benefits include:

Point Redemption towards onboard expense account credit

Instant Cruise Rewards Certificates

EFFY Boutique Credit at Regalia Fine Jewelry

Waived Convenience Fee for Cashless Wagering on SeaPass® card

Complimentary Drinks in Casino Royale

VOOM® Surf & Stream Internet Wi-Fi Packages

Priority Entertainment Access and Dining Reservations

Onboard Credit

Priority access at the terminal

Carry-on bag onboard drop off with priority delivery to stateroom

Welcome lunch in Main Dining Room featuring Chops Grille menu

Coastal Kitchen access

Flexible departure with à la carte breakfast

“Thank you for your inquiry regarding Royal Caribbean’s Casino offers. We regret to inform you that we are currently unable to market to your specific region. If you are interested in a specific ship and sail date, please contact us for booking options. “

Is there a different email address to use for UK 🇬🇧 please?

Thanks. Looks like a generic address - wonder if it’s monitored? I’ll try!

Is there a limit on when you can take your annual free cruise?  If we hit Prime in November when do we need to book/ sail by?

 Thanks

Look up your account.  Many times, I don't get notified as to what offers are available.  Not to repeat my post #24, but I called the CR desk and got a balcony for a mere add'l $5 + T&F.

Also, I travel solo with 340+ points and this may have an impact on the final price.  Tried to determine all of the credit applied, but I gave up.🤣

By the end of Casino Royale cruise year which is from April 1st to March 31st. So, if you make prime in Nov 22' you would have to take your free annual cruise by March 31st, 2023.......that is the latest sail date, not booked.

So I have one of these free interior stateroom deals on specific sailings, earned by just playing probably $800 total on our March cruise.  I'm strongly considering grabbing one, will we get the regular C&A points for these bookings?

Not completely accurate. If new CR patron makes prime during November 2022, they do not receive an annual tier benefit (free cruise) until a few weeks after April 1, 2023, and must sail by March 30, 2024.

Thanks; that makes much more sense. Especially for those who don’t have any ships close by during winter!

You never know.  I got a 5 niter on Mariner sail this past December and had one sail (Oasis) under my belt for the fiscal year.  Only earned about 500+ points on the sail and yet got an offer.  Maybe the pandemic had something to do with it, but you never know.

I was able to convert a $500 trade-in offer for an 8 niter balcony on Anthem for February sail.
