minikiss Posted September 11, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Just doing the last bit of packing ahead of getting on the Indy on Saturday. It's been a few years since we last sailed on Rccl and I can't remember what type of tea bags they have in the rooms and windjammer. I normally take some of my own just in case as I hate Liptons. If that the bag of choice i'll pack a few more of my preferred Tetley ones. Thanks Jules
Clarea Posted September 11, 2019 #2 Share Posted September 11, 2019 Take your own tea bags. You cannot depend on Royal having what you want at every venue all the time.

mjldvlks Posted September 11, 2019 #6 Share Posted September 11, 2019 I second the take your own. They MAY have what you want, but my experience has been that what's available is inconsistent, and they frequently run out of my preference before the end of the cruise. Norwich Cruiser Posted September 11, 2019 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2019 IOTS had Tetley earlier this year.

Plus it's not as if there's a huge weight penalty for carrying tea bags. 1

Rare Teeara Posted September 12, 2019 #13 Share Posted September 12, 2019 I always take my own tea. Invariably they run out of what I want by the 4th or 5th day. So lightweight and it doesn't take up much space if you just put them in a plastic bag rather than bringing the box. Any you don't drink can go back in the box when you get home. Rare island lady Posted September 12, 2019 #14 Share Posted September 12, 2019 (edited) Oh drats...have not cruised since June, but loved the previous change to "The London Tea company". Are those gone now again? Edited September 12, 2019 by island lady

I don't use the ones they supply in the cabin...usually the old ones that are over stock from dining room and WJ. 😉 I collect a few in the DL/CL/SL or the WJ to use. Really love the London Tea company tea. Hope to see them again.

Tin can Posted September 13, 2019 #19 Share Posted September 13, 2019 We were on Adventure out of New York a few weeks ago and being from the UK we were very surprised to find the tea bags were from The London Tea Company in cafe promenade and Windjammer. if you like herbal and fruit teas we noticed the selection had greatly improved from our last cruise a couple of years ago.
