Now that infamous chandelier .. to be honest we kinda like it as it’s different from the other ships ...

I still think it's weird looking... lol Maybe I will grow to love it 😉

Just an FYI- The Doug Out started posting a “live from Encore” 6 hours ago.

it will be interesting to read two reviews about this TA. He is in the Haven with his wife. You will be reporting as a solo in a balcony cabin.

There could very well be a tale of two TAs of the same ship on the NCL forum !

yeah Doug and I are friends.  He’s in his Haven suite.   😀

So Vox Fortua were really good.  Kinda niche for some opera cross classical cross soul.

now back in brew house and Jim Badger is back  on.  Now I know there are Badger fans out there but why the same songs, the same gags every single night 🤷‍♂️

piano man anyone? Sorry sweet Caroline

So mad I didn’t go on this!  Would have loved all sea days. Totally was not on my radar but could have went.  That chandelier, that can’t be the finished product.  Surely there is some back story to that thing.

So last night was going to be a early one but we had the first of our time changes and after seeing the ship move off from the Cavern on the Waterfront.  Doug (thedougout) and a few others made our way to a fairly busy Social nightclub (well for a first night anyway ).   I avoided the shots hence up to post this 😀

My free water, part of the UK all-inclusive was delivered in bulk.  As they are plant/paper based guess I’m growing a forest!

So overnight we have been storming (literally and figuratively) down the channel.  At times reaching 23+ knots.   Looks like he’s aiming to thread the needle between two storm fronts.

we currently have large waves 3M/14ft but the strong near gale winds whipping at the front of the ship.   Outdoor decks closed.  At the moment only relatively minor movement but worse is to come!
