Nieuw Amsterdam will be at pier 26 (starboard to) from 0515-1700.  She is heading out on a 7-day Eastern Caribbean cruise.

 

Grand Turk, Turks and Caicos (18 Nov 0800-1500); San Juan, Puerto Rico (19 Nov 1300-2300); St Thomas, US Virgin Islands (20 Nov 0800-1700); Half Moon Cay, Bahamas (22 Nov 0800-1500); Fort Lauderdale, Florida (23 Nov a0700)

 

It is a busy Saturday in Port Everglades.   Also in port are Carnival Sunrise at pier 4 from 0430-1600, Celebrity Equinox at pier 25 from 0600-1530, Independence OTS at pier 18 from 0615-1630, Island Princess at pier 2 from 0545-1600, and Majesty OTS at pier 19 from 0530-1600.

Busy day tomorrow and I will probably miss all the sail-ins. 

 

NA will be too early at FLL and even though St Maarten is by 8 am arrivals - they are on Atlantic Standard time; so an hour too early. [I really need my beauty sleep.]  😄

Not sure if I'll be here for sail-in or not.  Captain Giske's update has been moved to 9AM (40 minutes from now) and I will be on deck then.  Nieuw Amsterdam appears to be meeting the pilot.

Our flight arrives in Ft Lauderdale at 9:30, anyone know what times port terminals open? NA will be at Terminal 26

Boarding usually starts about 11:30.  By the time you collect your bags at the airport you should probably arrive at the terminal around 10:30.  By that time the porters should be ready to take your bags and check-in will likely start about 11AM.  You will probably have short waits (presumably with comfortable seating) between bag drop and checkin and between checkin and boarding.
