Tell me tips and tricks for the Carnival Conquest!

Sometimes the 5th deck promenade gets crowded, especially on photo nights.  To avoid the elbowing and delays, you can use the 4th deck pass through to go from the theater to the comedy club, or MDR to the casino.

One point is the stairway off the casino bar on deck 5, go down to 4th deck and turn right through the hallway that takes you just below the piano bar and comedy club.  Go up one deck and you halved the time and totally avoided the jostling crowds waiting to take pics or just pass through.

Reverse this starting at the MDR, enter the 4th deck club, go down the hallway on the right and when you get to the 2nd set of stairs, go up one deck and you'll be just outside the casino bar and midship elevators.

This works on any Conquest class ship (Conquest, Glory, Valor, Liberty or Freedom).

Enjoy your cruise!

We love the Conquest. If you have not booked your cabin, I would recommend deck 6 or higher as 3 & 4 have the galley and the Renoir MDR in the middle so you cannot pass all the way aft to fore. But even that is not terrible. We were just on the Riviera (deck 1) all the way aft, and just got used to going up to 5 (Promenade) to pass to go fore.

The art on-board is really pretty. Not just the main scenery in the atrium or public areas, but also the pictures that hang in the stairwells and around.

Breakfast in the Monet dining room is really good and rarely crowded. The BBQ on deck 10 is just above the main buffet, the Cezanne restaurant. Try it on embarkation day and it is usually way less crowded than later in the week. Speaking of that, if you are a larger group, more than 4 I'd say, then the tables on deck 10 above the buffet are your best bet for snagging a place all together.

If you cannot find deck loungers, go all the way aft to deck 10 above the Stars pool. We always found space there, plus the Sky bar is right below on deck 9 and easy to access with little wait.

Deck 7 on the Conquest class is the sweet spot preferably aft for me 2 decks up you're at the lido buffet 2 decks down you're at the promenade alchemy bar and you have cabin decks 6 and 8 between you so no noise. LOVE THE CONQUEST CLASS!!!!!!!!!!

The only thing I have off of the top of my head is there is usually a pasta bar right above the lido buffet that a lot of people don't see.

Other than that, I would recommend you explore the ship, see what it offers, and what works for you. It is a great class of ships!

on all ships, depending on the room class  you have booked.. ask the room steward for Robes, they no longer put them in the rooms,

when you book, let them know you are celebrating your Birthday, anniversary, etc..

should get you a free drink ..:)

I just got off the Conquest this morning, and it's the BBQ that's above the Lido buffet, not a pasta bar.  You can go up the steps near the dessert layout or use the aft elevator for deck ten.

Kyndall Fire, boom boom boom!

That is what she says her name is....  best cruise director EVER.

Anyhow....  I shot lots of video and will be posting it sometime later this week, once I finish laundry and stuff.  Wow, what fun she is.

Love the Conquest.  So nice having an "adult only" pool.  Just off Magic, and really missed that.  Too many kids in aft pool/hottubs.  Also loved the bbq above lido buffet.  Always tables available to sit at.  We headed up there each lunch for some peace and quiet from the hustle and bustle of the lido buffet.

I believe the aft adult pool varies. At least on the Magic. I've been on before and it will be adults only sometimes. But sometimes not, I've been told it depends on the number of kids on the cruise. I don't know if conquest is permanently that way or not.

Sailed on her twice!  A great ship!! I agree about the aft Adults only pool, and bar!! GREAT spot!! AND, if it rains, the roof closes!!!!  sometimes busy, but so much fun!    Find the BBQ place and the coffee shop on day 1, it's trickier to navigate! If you have YTD, go behind the lobby bar to get to the entrance, it was confusing first time! The EA sports bar behind the casino is fun too, usually a good crown for games! there's a bunch of quieter areas on deck 10 and 11 you can usually get lounge chairs to soak up the sun!

Have a blast!

Don't miss out on the FREE steam rooms in the mens/women locker rooms.  Not all ships have this complimentary.  But when they do my husband enjoys it every day 🙂

While we were on the Conquest in early Feb, the steam room and sauna were not hot enough for my taste. I don't want it stifling, but honestly, if i walk outside in summer in Florida, it's hotter in my driveway.
