Will4Reals Posted March 7, 2020 #1 Share Posted March 7, 2020 So I am currently on Royal Caribbean Majesty of the Seas and we return to port tomorrow in New Orleans after a 7 night cruise to Nassau, Coco Cay and Key West. I login to my email this evening and see I have a FREE last minute casino cruise offer this time from Carnival on the Carnival Glory that leaves on Sunday from the same port (24 hours later from the one I am disembarking on) for a 7 night cruise to 3 ports I have never been which include Montego Bay, Grand Cayman and Cozumel. I am a solo traveler and nothing really holding me back to where I couldn't take this offer. Logic is telling me I can't pass up this offer but my brain is telling me I just got done with a 7 night cruise! The game plan if I decide to take it is simple! When we disembark tomorrow find a place to do laundry during the day, get a hotel room for the night in New Orleans and after a good nights rest on land prepare to set sail for another 7 days on Sunday with Carnival Glory! What would you do?

ZoeyVictoria Posted March 7, 2020 #5 Share Posted March 7, 2020 Go for it! Nine days after disembarking the Carnival Liberty I saw a great price on the Brilliance of the Seas and booked it for two days later. As it turned out, that cruise was overbooked and we took an offer to go on the following cruise instead for free. When the great deal first showed up, my SO asked if I thought another cruise was excessive. We talked about it and decided that life is too short to miss out on the things that we enjoy.

sgttami Posted March 7, 2020 #11 Share Posted March 7, 2020 I'd go...wait to do laundry on the ship. Carnival has self serve laundry machines on all ships.

cellfree Posted March 7, 2020 #14 Share Posted March 7, 2020 (edited) Sound like a GO. I too would wait and do laundry on ship. Unless hotel (and some do) has laundry facilities. Edited March 7, 2020 by cellfree

woodey Posted March 9, 2020 #18 Share Posted March 9, 2020 A no brainer if I had the time and the funds (no such thing as a free cruise if they have a casino 🙄)
