Celebrity Silhouette - Breitling

Does anyone know if the dedicated Breitling store is still on the Silhouette?

It was there in the past, but what was there formerly may not be when the ships start sailing again.  I wouldn’t count on much being the same as it was.

We were onboard late 2017, maybe there was one but I don't recall seeing it.

I'm pretty sure it was in December 2019.

It's across the hall from the jewelry store where they sell " previously loved "  Rolex watches to old men with " much " younger women.  Never mind what I was thinking -- She even gave him a kiss !!

I was also on Silly in December '19 and I believe the store was there as noted above.

If you're talking about the area just across from the World Class Bar, then yes, it is still there.

I was on Silhouette in March and there was a Breitling store. And a dedicated Cartier watch store as well.

My advice would be to only buy from an authorised retailer in your home country.

Yes, I purchased my Navitimer on the Silhouette last year !

There was definitely a Breitling    shop in March 2019 however if you’re sailing in Caribbean there may be better deals in port. Plus if you buy onboard customs are advised of your purchase and the duty will be due to be paid on embarkation.

It was still there when I got off on March 6, 2020.  Who knows what will exist in the future.  I've never seen anyone in those shops, I wonder how many watches they sell per cruise.

Ok thanks... the last time I was on Silhouette, I bought one. It was £2k cheaper than buying in the UK.

 

I'm sure they sell a fair few... if they didn't sell any, they wouldn't keep the stores.

My husband has also bought a watch on board at a considerable saving In the past. Last March on the Silhouette  however the salesman told us they don’t sell as much on Caribbean Itineraries as there are better bargains on shore than they can offer so they don’t earn as much commission. They were all hoping to move to European sailings.

I could have probably got the watch cheaper in the Caribbean for sure... I just hate the hard sell, pounced on as soon as though the door! I just turn around and walk away.

I've found if I wear an Omega or Hublot into the stores in the Caribbean they are very nice and pleasant to deal with 🙂
