Rare OzKiwiJJ Posted August 21, 2020 Author #28 Share Posted August 21, 2020 Fascinating. I thought it might have been somewhere in Europe because of the church steeple in the background but didn't have a clue where.

That was my thought too but it was already answered. I have been in there when I wanted mail some motorcycle tyres I'd bought back to Oz. The postage was 10 times what I paid so I brought them home as luggage.

The scenery looked a bit like NZ but the peaks were wrong. It's an iconic viewpoint so I figured even if you haven't been someone might have seen it on a travel website. Though with international borders closed the island might find itself in more demand😜. The two peaks are Mt Gower and Mt Lidgbird.

Scotland, rings a bell anyway. Correct. Eilean Donan Castle in the West Highlands of Scotland, just down the coast from Kyle of Lochalsh which is where the bridge goes over to Skye. We were on a rail "cruising" trip, a four night journey on the Royal Scotsman. Kyle of Lochalsh was one of the overnight stops - not rattling along during the night on that train, it stops every night so people can get a good night's sleep.
