Hint; the train stops within walking distance of the pier 😉

Seward, Alaska  It's a really nice town in a beautiful setting.  We have camped right on the waterfront, and watched the ships sail in and out of Resurrection Bay.  Good place to watch eagles and sea otters.

I see St. Louis Cruiser posted while I was trying to spell Resurrection Bay correctly.

Winner! 😉 The termination/turning point for most northbound Alaska 7-day cruises

We sailed there once on the Maasdam. I'm going to say it now, we will miss the Maasdam. It holds many memories for us. Honeymoon included

Makes two of us! The first ship I ever worked on; they say you never forget your first. Went to Rio de Janeiro and back, up and down the Amazon to Manaus, on the Voyage of the Vikings to Amsterdam, to various ports in the Carib and to the Canada/New England ports out of Boston, Mass. She always came through! Great memories of a fine ship!
