Another lovely day as we sail south along the Norwegian coast to Alesund and the Fjords. Tomorrow we have out last Norwegian ports of Bergen, Stavanger and Oslo.

I would like to re- join the cruise, with some of my Norway pics taken from HAL Ryndam cruises, back in 2014/15, Some of these may have been posted in the previous "pictures from cruises" so apologies. they are from sailing in/out of Geiringer fjord, Ulvik, Aalesund,& Eidford, I start off with a pic of the famous Norwegian Blue parrot, ( now deceased, fell off its perch).   I look forward to October this year (hopefully) sailing aboard Arcadia up to Artic Norway & seeing the northern Lights.

The ship was  like a head count  as time went on I doubt many were

below deck.   The crew were bobboing up and down with their cameras

/phones they reckoned they had seen nothing like it.

Forgot - the Arctic circle crossing - It was bitterly cold and instead of kissing a fish

you could have ice water ladled down tthe back of your head and neck.

Needless to say we did not volunteer even for a tot of rum!!

Today we reach the ports of southern Norway before we head east into the Baltic Sea for our first port which is Stockholm,....I did say we are taking a circuitous route back to Blighty!!!
