Well they have cancelled all but 4 ships. What makes it especially sound like pie in the sky is the 4th ship is miracle to alaska, so canada has to open. 

 

I'm watching, 1 carnival and then 10 rcl cruises. The obc too tempting.

Could be eyewash. Lot of words in there scare everyone........hope,uncertianty, work toward plans, etc.

Hopefully Royal Caribbean will be next ? 
The efforts to start are all positive. Hope for the best folks .

At this point, all the cruise lines have "planned" on resuming operations ten or twelve times already... I believe that the only ones with a chance of sailing anytime soon are the fully vaccinated ones originating from foreign ports...

They use the word unclear a lot in that article.  I plan on winning the lottery tonight but it's unclear if I have the winning numbers.

yeah, a whole lot of maybe in there.  Topped off with 'if you want to bail out now since we don't know for sure, you can get all your money back in case you want to use that money to book a vacation that will actually happen'.  I feel for the cruise lines, and for Carnival to come out and offer full refunds is nice of them.  I'm sure quite a few will take them up on that, which then will help mitigate the massive amounts of refunding or giving out more OBC when and if those early July ones or Alaska don't happen.

Who trusts the CDC?  They say that less then 10% of COVID transmissions occur outside.  The number is under 1%.  They can't do math let alone tell us the real science.

Their thinking is less than 10% is the same as saying 1% which covers them for an additional 9%
They use to call that fuzzy math
