With college requirements on the rise an an exponential rate, I can see public school systems making the requirement in the 2022-2023 school year Perhaps...... but only after it is run through the proper testing and approvals. I don't think it'll be mandated as is.

Seriously, I'm not criticizing your post. Just a musing thought on my part.

Well I would expect nothing less from the N.E. area tbh. And that's a shame. Those kids have some serious choices to make if the vaccine goes against their beliefs. They either go to the school they have always desired via a vaccine or go somewhere else. Crazy. Especially since the age group has never really seen harm in covid (statistically).

One has had covid and has antibodies. I went as far as to contact the school to see if they were making exceptions for antibody positive people. No go. That has always been an acceptable alternative for people who could not produce vaccination records for whatever reason. By the way, I seriously doubt that this is unique to N.E. schools. 1

OB, so you are saying that schools are anti science. 😂 I mean normally when you have a viral infection and you live, you have the same antibodies that you get from the vaccine. In fact it should be superior to the vaccine. This has always seemed weird to me.

If we were on a ship, or lived closer and you unlocked your wine cellar, we could have a very long and deep philosophical duscussion about this subject, medicine, and life. Then when you see how my wine influenced mind works you'd probably never want to run into me again... even in line at the flow rider. 1

There are several bottles of Prosecco and a few bottles of Kim Crawford SB, and maybe a bottle of a cheap red at TR. In QC, there is a large 700 bottle a/c box with about 250 bottles of mostly expensive red wine a dozen or so dessert wines, my wife’s furs, some Meinl coffee and tea. I think that is all. Several years ago it was mostly full with expensive red wine. I think I am closer to my expiration date, so, I am sharing the bounty with friends for the last several years and it is dwindling. At expected worst case, in 3 years, it will be empty. If the MIL passes, she is approaching 95 and nowhere near passing it will get emptied sooner... aka arrival of Airstream.
Midwestgal Posted June 7, 2021 #214 Share Posted June 7, 2021 I understand people wanting to cruise but other than the private islands and Mexico no islands are going to let people on cruise ships in. Many islands even if your vaccinated require some type of quarantine . wish I could get more excited but ships getting out to sea is only half the battle

I love the genius talking point that just because kids have to vaccinated to attend school it follows that adults can be forced to partake in a drug or vaccine. This is called a logical fallacy and is frequently employed by the ignorant. A cruise line is not a school and its customers are not children. Well, not usually.

CruisingHogFan Posted June 9, 2021 Author #221 Share Posted June 9, 2021 (edited) Just think of all those unvaccinated people who purchased July sailings last week who are now mad because they may have to wear mask everywhere on the ship including outside, pay extra, be limited what they can do on the ship, and even may not be allowed off the ship in some ports... I complained about Royal changing the rules after I booked because I only wanted vaccinated adults onboard and was told by many to just deal with it because things change! Hope y’all all feel the same way now….. Edited June 9, 2021 by CruisingHogFan
