My Medallion Travel Checklist is Stuck

I'm within 75 days, 63 days today as a matter of fact.  But I still cannot check-in.  I'm fully paid, completed steps 1-3, but stopped at #4: Arrival and Departure Time.  Not concerned about Departure Time as I'm using Princess' shuttle to get back to the airport (there isn't a savings in doing uber when I'm a solo). Did anyone find out when we can proceed with #4 so that we can do #5 Health Status.

A couple of folks have been able to proceed to the next steps but most have not.  In fact there are still lots of bugs in the app.  You can read about them here

Sure, but "checking in" as covered above is not the same as selecting a Boarding Group.  That is a brand new feature. 

 

Also not a good thing if only some people on the voyage have access to it.  Again, the functionality either works or doesn't work.  If it works for some on same voyage, then it should work for all.  UNLESS - there is some sort of data corruption or missing data issue.

Have you asked anyone at HQ this direct question?  (About the boarding group selection?

 

The health form is going to be much closer to sail date in order to be relevant.

did you also see in my post about getting Ocean Ready?  Again, it says coming soon; so I guess those who plan to cruise Alaska next month may have a challenge before them.  If their personalizer is all filled out, then they can still pick up their medallions at the port

Yes, I did.  The OP was concerned about selecting her Arrival Group in Step 4 of OCEANReady in the MC App since she is within 75 days of departure.

Exactly. I'm beginning to wonder (& asked on another thread) if it has to do with being on a Droid.

And that is how my Personalizer has appeared for at least a month now not only for our August cruise, but also three subsequent cruises through October of next year.  So some of us have been actively invited to use the app while others get the "coming soon" message.  And it's clearly still buggy so that's why those of us told by Princess to use the darned thing are so frustrated.

The reason I asked about the casino promotion is because I received a one.  I paid a $200 deposit per person along with all of the taxes and port fees at the time of booking. I found out that I won’t be able to book my dining time because it shows that I am not paid in full. I was told they will not pay their portion until approximately two weeks prior to sailing so wish us luck with our dining times.  
 

Hopefully it gets straightened out for you soon!

Even though Princess said anyone booked by June 6 could access the dining time feature even if not paid in full.

That sounds like another bug in their programming.  You are paid in full and they should simply trigger the dining feature based on final payment DATE rather than whether or the cruise is paid in full.  If the cruise wasn't paid in full as of the specified date the cruise would cancel.  By the way, this would only be for the groups that do not have immediate access to dining.  Those in full suites, Elites, and Platinum members do not have to wait to reserve dining.  So if you fall into any of these categories, that should override the status of the payment from the casino.

Thanks for this!  I booked our dining time this morning on the app and I was surprised because our cruise is not until May 22, so not paid in full.  We are Elite, and I did not realize this was a perk for us.  Sometimes it pays off to have locality status.

We're not Elite, and I'm able to book dining times on a cruise before final payment.

Are you Platinum or is your cruise coming up in the next couple of months?  If not, then I have no idea….I just heard about it this morning from another CC poster.  Our cruise is May 2022.

I doubt if anyone including a PVP can add arrival times because currently it’s apparently unavailable on their MC system…did it work? Being within 75 days of sailing hopefully it works for you. 🤞

Yes, I booked my 2021 cruise and paid my portion several months ago after my 2020 cruise was canceled.  Bummer because we like to dine early so we can spend our evening watching MUTS, shows and playing in the casino.  The odd thing is that I was able to book dining times for my other cruise that is not paid for in full (but not a free casino promotion).
