Let me just say to all of you that have never met him. What you picture of him in your mind is probably pretty close. The knowledge, wit, and humor that comes across on these pages, comes across in real life. I’m glad to have finally met him, and I will not betray his trust.

Thanks! You're not too bad yourself.

I thought we weren't going to talk about that night...

I honestly can say I don't remember that, though I know we each had 13 or 14 drinks in us at the time! :classic_biggrin:

Around 9:30 Saint Greg heads to the next comedy show, and Patti and I head to the Welcome Aboard Show in the Liquid Lounge. They are very strict with masks here and enforce the sip and cover rule while drinking…..

IMG_7343-X2.jpg

The show is hosted by Cruise Director Lee Mason, and he is helped by members of the Fun Squad…..

Walking around the ship we see Scott performing at Piano Bar 88…..

The Panorama Rockband is performing in Ocean Plaza…..

We head back to the cabin a little after 11 pm where we find our first towel creature of the cruise. After such a rocky start it turned out to be a great day. Goodnight everyone!

Coming up next: Our first sea day and dinner at Bonsai Tappanyaki!

This cracked me up! Saint Greg meets us for a drink and the picture is of Jeff and Patch. I don't need to know what Saint Greg looks like, I will think he is looks like Patch from now on! LOL

Not like Patch at all. I’m shorter. More hair. Better eyes. Our teeth are about the same…until January at least.

Love Patti’s sunset photos! Glad the day ended well. The Havana area looks empty? Is there no one else in that area? How many passengers on this cruise?

enjoying this review so much!

There were about 2,500 people aboard which is about 66% based on double occupancy. Though the Havana Pool area never got really crowded, you will see more people there in future pictures. It was chilly on embarkation day plus the first and last sea days. 😎

I love that the elusive Saint Greg has an entire section of your review named for him 🤣

It couldn't have been done any other way! 😁

When the stars align and multiple reviewers are on the same ship at the same time, it is very special indeed! 🤗

@Jamman54...when we cruised on Vista we loved the Dreamscape in the atrium lobby, great bar service and great music....not to mention the fabulous people watching!

The Ocean Plaza area was ALWAYS packed like sardines.  But we did cruise at 100% capacity so I'm sure with your cruise at less capacity it was much more pallitable.

I am enjoying your review as I follow all your reviews!  Those fellow cruisers getting to enjoy sailing at less than 100% capacity are really fortunate.

Thanks for continuing to follow along! With a low PSR of 28, we would never book this class of ships during peak times. On this cruise, which was only at 67% of double occupancy, venues such as the Piano Bar,  Alchemy Bar, and the Comedy Club were packed. We also feel that the Havana experience in an inside cabin was well worth the money, and are planning the same for the Vista once she comes to Port Canaveral. 😎

I saw that movie with Sean Connery and Alec Baldwin...

But I think this movie 🎬 should be titled

The hunt for Aint Greg
