Guess whatever happened this past week that prompted the bravo call didn't result in any injuries or worse and was quickly fixed and cleaned up.  Never did find out any additional info after the initial reports.

Two days ago, there was a Code BRAVO announcement on this ship after smoke came from a lower deck, caused by a chemical reaction. The crew member informed us that “There were no flames. The compartment was isolated and cooled down by spraying water over the surrounding walls. There was nothing serious.”  Cruise blogger CruiseMiss initially reported the incident on her Facebook page.

On the Jewel this week.  Enjoying the hospitality at Maya Chen Beach right now.

1400 on board this week. 1800 booked the week of Thanksgiving.  Windjammer is open for dinner.

Will post a review upon our return.

Sail away from Miami from our aft balcony:

It was a simple joke, that apparently no one else was able to grasp.  No need to make rude comments, though.

And I can't speak to whether Jewel appears in Branson, but if you think appearing on a cruise ship eclipses that in terms of a fancy gig... yikes!

Ours itinerary initially included cayman island and Cozumel which was later replaced by Costa maya.

It was a fun cruise but I surely saw the effect of pandemic. With fewer guest on board and less budget to work with, menu was limited in dinning room and windjammer with fewer options.

Check-in process was very smooth and well coordinated. We had to get additional  covid test for our son so there was a little waiting involved but other than that. Smooth as breeze.

if you are looking for a pre cruise hotel close to airport. I would strongly recommend comfort inn and suites near the Miami airport. They run shuttles between the airport and also have complementary shuttle to port on the day of cruise.
