Thank You for Posting this I was a friend of his on FB, Met him on the Jewel of the Seas. He will be missed so sad.

Diego turned  41 years in October of this year way to young. His Brother Aldo had used Diego’s page to let people know that he passed away on FB which is Diego Tripaldi Uruguay.

We met Diego years ago on Enchantment, then he switched over to Mariner. Later it was Jewel. The last time we saw him on Jewel we had an afternoon lunch off the ship in Cozumel at this little hole-in-the-wall restaurant. I remember he was so excited about the next chapter in his life.

 

We will raise a toast to him when we embark on Enchantment in a couple of weeks. Then we plan on going to that restaurant (if it is still there) later on in the year hopefully.

 

RIP Diego! Thank you for all of the fun times we had over the years. We will miss you greatly...

On the Jewel, but I’m not sure about the Serenade.

It appears to have been very sudden. He had posted on 22 Dec and his brother posted yesterday.

I found his Obituary in a Uruguay Newspaper 

 

it starts out O.E.P. D. Diego German Tripaldi Sanchez and he passed away on 12-23-2021.

if you look up Aldo Tripaldi on FB he wrote a Beautiful Tribute about his Brother. Also if you look up Diego Tripaldi Uruguay on FB many people are posting their condolences there.

Diego was both a FB friend and a true friend. He touched so many lives and will be missed by all whose lives he touched.

Hi susyluvs2cruise,

 

 I met Diego 4 years ago on 12-10-2017 on the Jewel of the Seas and have been a FB friend since then.

 

You are right he has touched many people and he had a wonderful smile. The out pouring of Love on FB has been truly wonderful.

 

He will be missed but his memory will live on from all the people he has made friends with over the years.

I don’t do FB and when I click on the link, it shows the funerals for today, 2023.  Any ideas how to get to the Dec 2021 obituaries?
