Yes, I believe everything she says. I was just posting the info and getting flak for it lol. Can you tell me if folks are wearing masks at all? Is there any mask regulations in certain areas? I’m just curious..thanks!

I can't but read through this thread & it'll give you some idea of how things are currently on the Enchanted. Supposedly people are to wear them in the show lounge & casino as well as tenders and in the terminal.

I've see comments that some people wear them in the Show Lounge & some don't.

Can't say for the casino as we just rush through to avoid the fumes & won't be bothered with a mask for that.

I promise you that on the Enchanted mask wearing is not required in any venues including the theatre and casino. Those who choose to wear them, do, most don’t.
Crew are still fully masked but are waiting for the day they can go maskless too.
There is still no smoking inside - not in the casino, not in Churchill’s.

Can anyone tell me the distance from the ship to the taxi stand in St. Thomas. I have trouble walking, and want to know how long the walk down the pier is. TIA.

As @FritzG stated, the walk is long. If you have read through these posts you’ll know that Steve injured his ankle while onboard. He is having difficulty walking to the exits in all the ports. I think they do provide some sort of transport for those who have difficulty walking.

What did everyone do in Port ?

Today, in St Lucia, we took our first Princess excursion in ages. It was a 4 hour catamaran trip to the Pitons and a beach swim. It was actually really nice and not crowded at all.
Tomorrow we have a private tour with a driver in Barbados. Unfortunately, with Steve’s injury, we really can’t do too much.

The chicken tacos served at the grill on Lido were delicious and served as soft tacos!

And you can have as much butter as you want. All you have to do is ask!

Are the salted butter pats back???   The last cruise I was on in 2019 they served unsalted butter.

Finally made it to Crooners the last two evenings.
Jason and Dominique are great but are kept so busy with medallion orders they barely have time to stop and chat. It’s the wave of the future, I guess.
We did have a good laugh that even though they serve olives in the buffet and they had them in the Platinum/Elite lounge tonight, they can’t serve the olive fight in Crooners because of Covid ….🤔

Steve enjoys a very dirty martini and I tried the Flamingo tonight. Both Jason and Dom gave me permission  to post their photos  50F90B04-4192-46CD-AA7D-6464A44D5A74.thumb.jpeg.f72832662c33171020dd7bb18e118959.jpeg1790ECCF-7481-4159-A192-BD22B7376647.thumb.jpeg.6b99ff655e25c690807664d8263cf3b2.jpeg7FF4C190-ECBD-4771-B217-3889C712814F.thumb.jpeg.98f51d3377a340c20d101f901759462a.jpeg40892565-FC82-4DF8-A2DE-E82CFF3665CC.thumb.jpeg.6e6eec63181efa03ae30f18e4de9f23c.jpeg

In our cruise critic meeting, Silvio was just about to walk out when I called him back with a few questions. He feigned annoyance, but in good humor. We then saw him at the Winemaker’s Dinner and somehow he and Steve came to the conclusion that I am a trouble maker. So every time he sees me he dramatically feigns distress and will loudly joke to all around him what a pain I am. BUT I think he secretly might like me because yesterday he had this sent over to our table:

And then tonight he had us seated in a prime and very quiet location. The service was speedy quick and when we requested to sit there for the remaining evenings they told me it had already been done….

It’s good to make friends in high places. Even if they do find you annoying….

St Lucia today The Pitons from the catamaran.
The rum punch is potent. Steve was drinking his second for medicinal purposes only. He’s holding my water while I snap the photo. One glass of rum punch was enough for me!

Steve’s ankle was so painful after dinner that it was all he could do to get back up to the cabin to elevate and ice it. We will definitely have to make an appointment with an orthopedist once we are home.

I never realized how much walking we do on a ship now that he really can’t walk at all.
We are both trying to stay positive in spite of his injury and realize every day how lucky we are to be on this cruise. Especially with everything that is going on in the world.

We did have some really good news today,  we received a message that all medical charges were taken off our bill. One less thing to worry about!  🎉🎉🎉

I thought that smoking is currently banned in the casino due to masking requirements.

I’d love to find this lady and prove her wrong. There are people wearing masks - but they are definitely in the minority.
We’ve given up the ship (pardon the pun) and feel we are so exposed that we aren’t wearing them either. However, if we are around people who do have them on, especially in the elevators, we put ours on out of respect.

In Antigua and today in St Lucia we did have to wear them in the port areas.
The ONLY place that mask wearing on the Enchanted is required is disembarking at ports and then embarking again.

Thanks again for your opinion on the matter.😉

As I've said many times, people only see what they want to see and I put more weight on your views than some second hand tale.

In any event we'll skip any of the ports which require masks while walking around. Obviously they don't need my money, besides that we're been to all of them too many times to count so there's nothing new for us.

The newest movies Princess ever has shown are those that have just come out on DVD or are about to come out on DVD.

That was true in the past but I have yet to read of even one movie that fits that category lately.

Your not even on the ship yet so you are the one spreading second hand tales. Wait til you get on the ship and “see” for yourself!

Anything that I posted was clarified with the statement that I read it recently on CC from people who have been posting for years.
What's wrong with that? It's not like someone saying they read something on Facebook & then posting it here.

Excellent , some very nice photos . There is a lot that can be seen and done that doesn't require a lot of activity in Barbados .

You make all your comments sound like you were there and know everything about everything.   You may read posts put you are posting second hand info.     Please keep your comments to your own experience.

Really now. LOL 😁 You're being totally ridiculous.

How would you know the difference if I did say I was on the ship & posted comments. My comments are based upon other's recent experiences that are currently sailing and meant to be helpful to people looking for that info.

btw- Cruise Critic provides the function for you to ignore my comments and so you won't have to read them any longer.

You said you just rush through the casino yet you have not cruised for ages.    Smoking has not been allowed since covid started.   FALSE

That is a good idea to ignore them from now on - then I don't have at look at that picture

You're not keeping up with the latest news. 😅
