poocher Posted April 22, 2022 #14 Share Posted April 22, 2022 I’ve found that coke is crisper/fizzier while Pepsi is more syrupy. RC serves Coke products. Sadly this means the freestyle machines serve Seagrams Ginger Ale. I drink diet ginger ale but not THAT! Just awful. I get cans of Canada Dry at the bars instead. Canada Dry Ginger Ale tastes like sugar water compared to real ginger ale.

All of my local grocery stores carry multiple brands of ginger beer. But real ginger ale? I prefer Seagrams to Canada Dry. Schweppes is better than Seagrams. The best ginger ale I have bought in a grocery store is Fever Tree. mmmmmmmmmmmm Spicy. 🙂

poocher Posted April 23, 2022 #24 Share Posted April 23, 2022 (edited) I will definitely try it! I like Canada Dry because it’s again crisper/fizzier. Seagrams has an almost thick quality, syrupy, that I don’t like. Same as I described the difference between Coke & Pepsi to my tastebuds. Schweppes falls somewhere in the middle. But I’m gonna look for ginger beer! Just to add I also find Seagrams & Schweppes go flat quickly. If I buy a 2 liter, it’s flat before I finish half of it. Doesn’t happen with Canada Dry.
