Cruise Duck Hiding Places

Any ideas on good places to hide cruise ducks on the Carnival Dream.  Preferably indoors so they won't blow into the ocean and pollute it.  Thank you!!!

How about hiding them at home before you leave for the cruise?

What's the fun in that.  I've seen many a face light up when they find a cruise duck and isn't that what vacation is all about, having fun?

I've found them near the elevators, stairwells, and on the house phones near the elevators and arcades.

I have had them hit me in the head as I was sitting in lobby listening to Lobby band. I don't understand the duck thing. What is it for or about?

I saw 3-4 of them on our last cruise.  Had no idea what they were about.  Had I , I still would not have cared.   As for a hiding place, you could hide one in plain sight on the Seafood Shack counter...nobody would find it.

This is what happens when a couple rubber ducks get loose in the wild.  They just keep multiplying.

Found one inside an elevator on a ledge. How about one on the Alchemy bar shelf.

It's incredible how little traffic that venue gets, yet Carnival still keeps it.

It was very busy on the Mardi Gras in May.  I eat there at least once a cruise

In the theater, atrium chairs, casino.  Plenty of places to hide them.

I love the ducks!  I tuck them into seat cushions in ship venues, inside the triangular stand up menus on tables if available in the bars, in stairwells, plants and greenery, on signage and artwork and in elevators.  I found one on a machine at the casino entrance.  I usually just carry a few with me and hide if I see a good spot and no one is around.

Please keep them low for kids to spot them. So around seating, tables, elevator handles, any of the handrails around the ships, in low planters, around the entrances to the kids club. Have fun with it!

Around the slides is a place people often ignore. Just make sure they won't blow off the open deck!

I hide them anywhere they fit. In upper corners of elevators, up top near lights in hallways, behind curtains, library cabinets, under tables, on top of signs, beside of doors in the corner, there are lots of places.

I noticed the tag on this duck has the person's name.  That could come in handy for the people who say they hide them in the artwork.  At least Park West will know who to charge for any damage done to the artwork.

My question with this if they are intended for kids to find, why the need to attach a contact name?  Seems like stranger danger to me.

They're not exclusively for kids.

I agree that adults like to find them too. I see no need for names and addresses on them though.

I agree with that. I don't know that I've ever seen one with names or addresses on it however.

The one I found on the Pride TA just had a note on it to take a selfie with it and send it to a website. The one on the Splendor was a home made one with a person's name and address on it.

We found 2 on the Dream in November. One in an elevator and one in an outdoor seating area chair. The elevator duck had a Facebook group name to report the finding and whether you intended to keep or

re-hide them. We re-hid them both. It was a fun surprise to find them, some harmless fun, made me smile.
