Hi everyone!

We will be cruising on the Majestic Princess soon and are wondering if you have any opinions or comments regarding the location.  It is a balcony cabin directly across the hall from the Stairs and Panoramic Elevators on the Caribe Deck.  We are trying to be prepared as this is our first Princess cruise.

Has anyone stayed in those cabins and had issues they can let us know about, good or not so good?  We appreciate your thoughts!  Thank you in advance.

I’m sorry, I don’t remember which ship it was since it was one of our very first cruises, but we were mid ship almost directly opposite the stairs/elevators (maybe one cabin down). We were never bothered by any noise.

I was on C deck last week on discovery 230.  Fwd.kinda by the elevators.
never any issues.   I always try to stay near an elevator and never have issues with them.   It people walking by being loud at 12am or 6 am. Lol.

Never been noisy for us near an elevator or stairs midship.  You will have loud people passing by anywhere on the ship. Lol

And I’m a light sleeper.

The elevators are tucked into a walled off area that make them removed from the cabins. People waiting for the elevators wait in that area, and the elevator sounds are very soft. Even the closest cabins to the elevators experience no intrusion.

We try to book cabins near the stairs/elevators on purpose so we don't have to walk down the long hallways.  So far we have never had a problem with noise or congestion.  The cabins don't open directly onto the area.  These cabins are very convenient.

You can't get more mid-ship than that.  Either AFT, FWD,UPPER,LOWER.

Great location.

I, like the others, do not think of these locations as too problematic.

Maybe the occasion 'loud' passengers.

I might consider changing ONLY if you wanted one of the larger/deeper balconies on the ship, and some were still available.
