Do ships still go to Acapulco?

I don't know.  My cruise was par of a world cruise.  Acapulco was the port which most impressed me.  It was so different to anywhere I'd previously visited.  My biggest disappointment was not going on a ship's tour to see people jump off a high cliff in to the water far below.  Everyone raved about it.  As a bonus, John Wayne was at the restaurant!  We chose to go to local entertainment and didn't understand a word!

After showers during the day it fined up nicely for sailaway.

The person in the kayak decided it would be  good idea to cross in front of the ship. The pilot boat kindly escorted thrm to make them more visible.

That photo was taken from our balcony.

Love it. Last time we sailed out of city we were in the wrong side so went up on deck. I think sometimes they reverse out? Other times back up???? But what it was now I guess it will be in October

The pilot boat was bouncing around a fair bit.

It took them two attempts to get alongside to take the pilot off. I tried to video that but the pilot boat almost disappeared under the promenade deck during the transfer.

It certainly was and a fair bit of spray! The pilots and the horn blast are two of my fav bits about sailaway 🥳

We're on the port side so perfect while docked for Opera House views but once the ship had backed out and turned we faced the North Shore side. When we change cabins after this cruise we'll be on the starboard side so will get the Opera House sailaway views then.

Coral always docks bow in to Circular Quay.

Having  a 3.5 hr drive then a hour train trip, I am coming up the day before my cruise on 13 Sept. Booked in at Holiday Inn, Kings Cross, rail stn is right there. Too much risk driving up day of cruise. Alway arrive day before.

Good work, the trains will hopefully  be working.

The ship is there waiting for us. The weather isn't the greatest for embarkation though.

Bon voyage, we had a great cruise and wil be back again for the one after this one. Miserable weather made for a wet debarkation.

Took 15 mins from dropping off bags to our stateroom. We had everything completed on the app and was only asked for ID and vac certificate, then collected our medallion. We had group B which was 11.30 but arrived by train early at 10.45 and was ushered straight through.

Change  of itinerary due to bad weather along the coast. Overnight in Sydney and sail at 4pm tomorrow. Miss Brisbane and straight to Airlie beach. Then an extended time in cairns 9pm instead of 6pm.

best hotel in Sydney 😊

Enjoy, we hope the weather is going to be kinder for the rest of the cruise.

Hope it's not going to be too rough.

It's shouldn't be too bad. 3-4 metres for a while tomorrow maybe then easing off again. We avoided the worst of it by staying in Sydney the extra day.

Yes, but not many. As far as I can tell, they are US relocations from Alaskan season to Caribbean season. Seems NCL have a few coming up, I guess as long as the port is deemed safe.

It was barely drizzling when we got to the OPT at 11:15.

I was lucky with boarding! I took a cab from the airport to the terminal early  to drop off my case and then have a walk. I was told to go straight onboard even though I mentioned my Group C boarding time!  I was in my cabin by 11.00am. Very few people there and I didn’t have to wait at all in the priority lane. The best boarding experience I have ever had!

Had a similar experience with our boarding on the previous cruise, only 780 pax, and 480 of those were B2B

Boarding must have started very early. I was walking the area at 10.30 and noticed there were no crowds and they were already boarding. I was in my cabin by 10.45 despite being blue lane on my app and arrival group E.  Maybe the very low passenger count on the previous cruise made cleaning and preparing the ship easy so that embarkation started so early.

Quite likely, we had 780 aboard and was told that around 250 would stay on. They said that this cruise would have around 1350 pax aboard.
