Been watching her on on PTZtv.  Looks like clouds are rolling in and the wind is picking up.  Enjoy the rest of your day! 😄

Yes, the forecast is calling for thunderstorms soon. . .

Enjoying your review.

We are on oasis in January- first time on Oasis and first time in a crown loft suite.

Do you happen to know what the opening hours for coastal kitchen for breakfast are ?

We are on Oasis in January the week of the 22nd.  Also, in a Crown Loft.  Breakfast in CK is usually 0800-1000.  🙂

Did it feel like there were 2000 kids on board?

YES, definitely.    elevators games, witnessing running in and out of the MDR at dinner time, little ones wondering around lost at the pool deck, etc. etc. etc.

Don't get me wrong I love kids but it was overwhelming.      There were many rude passengers/parents that just didn't care.      Of course, there were some very nice ones too!

Hello everyone and good day. Today was a very warm and sunny day. The sun was pretty strong until about 5:00 p.m.

Originally, Port Canaveral was scheduled for severe thunderstorms, but we ended up with heavy dark clouds and not much rain.

I start off going next door to Grills Seafood and Tiki Bar. I have been there four times during the last 12 months, and I keep wanting to enjoy the Grills Hurricane Burger. I'm not sure about their ad that suggests we make our Hurricane Burger the Grills way.

After lunch I went across the street to the Sunrise Dive  Surf shop. I needed to buy some super glue for a small repair. That place sells everything. Food, snacks, sodas, wine and beer. T-shirts, shorts, sandals, flip flops. Oh yeah, and they also have bait, mechanical supplies, boat engine parts, and many other things. It seems like everyone that was in that store was on board the ship.

I went all the way up to Fishlips and Gators Dockside. There are many restaurants, bars and seafood supply houses in the area. This area is called the Cove and it brings several retail choices to a port facility. I don't think there's too many US home ports that offer this type of retail options.

I made it back to the ship by 4:00 p.m. and had to get ready for early dining at 5:15. My dinner was very good tonight. I really enjoyed the Seafood Puff Pastry, and I especially enjoyed Lasagna.

It seems that Aqua 80 show will be canceled tonight and will be rescheduled for day 7. The "official" word on why it is  being postponed is very simple. -Technical problems- was the reason that was given by the Diamond Concierge. Oh well, my reservation has been changed to 8:00 p.m. on DAY 7.

Here are a few pics. Thanks for tuning in.

Tomorrow is CocoCay Day.

Good on you for the good attitude.  While this isn't everyone's solution, had it been me confronting this, I would have avoided the issue altogether by finding the nearest open bar!  🍸🤪

Just not the pool bar then...  🤣

I thoroughly enjoyed the adult only sun garden area in front of the solarium.  And a drink guy was there on a regular basis.  😀

My DH enjoyed with me a couple of times but he preferred our large balcony to listen to his music and read ( and nap).   I'm pretty good at finding quiet places on  ship.

On our May Oasis sailing, I forgot the sunscreen and hats. Found everything I needed at the Surf and Dive Shop. Pretty convenient if you need something. Luckily, the Port Canaveral stop is before CoCo Cay !

I have a small question. If you win a handpay in the casino is it customary to tip the person that brings you your money? I have had only one hand pay in my life and it was back when we used quarters and i won $850,00 on a quarter machine. I was lucky to win $600 3 nights in a row on our last cruise. Never have gotten a hand pay in the local casinos here either.

I've enjoyed many an hour at the tables next to the Solarium Bar on Anthem playing cribbage, people watching and undergoing fluid replacement.  Sitting in the cabin just isn't for me, even with a balcony.  Got to be out and about!

Just not with 2000 kids of course...

We sailed on Oasis in June (myself, son & granddaughter).  It was their first cruise ever.  My granddaughter was invited by our tablemates to join their son & them at Laser Tag while son & I went to the Escape Room.  They said the line took them an hour to get in.  We looked earlier & it was really long then too.  Be aware it might be just as long for you.

I'm really enjoying your pictures as it brings back so many good memories.  There is a huge difference between sailing with an adult & a child (10).  We went to go in Windjammer for breakfast the first day & the line was so long we went to the Solarium Grill instead.

I need to go again with an adult to do my favorite things.

Thanks for the review.

Did you go to the Solarium Grill with your Granddaughter for breakfast? We have our eldest Granddaughter (6) sailing with us on 16th October and that sound like a good option. Where there any issues getting breakfast with an under 18 in there?

The shark kabobs are actually amazing. So tender and tasty with the marinade that put on it. I highly recommend you try it.

Yes, I have talked to several friends who have tried it and they love, love, love them . . . Maybe one time I may give it a go.

The Space Launch Now app suggests that the SpaceX launch has been rescheduled for today. . . This launch is for the Starlink satellites (54) that will be launched with a Falcon 9 rocket.
