I can't remember,  did you have cancelations?

Yes, second to last night was cancelled due to the ship rocking, but they did 2 make up performances on the last night so everyone could see it. One was around 2pm and the other at 7:15 pm, there were plenty of spots for those who needed to see it.

I hope you get to see it.  Mama Mia is my favorite of the current shows.  My all-time favorite is probably Chicago, which isn't playing anymore.  To be completely honest, I haven't watched Cats. 😉

Mine too! And to be completely honest, I did sit through Cats.😐

We got off the boat at least an hour after the port was open and there were plenty of chairs available when we got there.

Out from us was the floating bar.

We got a drink they called a Labaduicy.   They said it is made from the various island fruits.   It was good.

We got our Doodles ready.   These are blowup noodles.  They are great traveling noodles.   Very light and takes up very little space.

I am not sure if you are restricted in what you can smoke but there is a smoking area down from where we were.

Hi John,    Looks like a Perfect Day!    Which beach is this?

Hey, you would be proud I made it through my first day back to work and drank lots of water (and coffee)😍

We've brought the blow up doodles as well, we usually just toss them in the rubbish bin on way back to the ship.  Have several pkgs waiting to be packed for upcoming cruises.  Will use them in Lagoon Pool at the Cay in December!  Perfect!

My last time on CocoCay I left a couple blow up noodles with the workers, they thought they were awesome.    Much better than throwing them out.

I know that it is not going to be relevant to our cruise next year.  You have the UDP, but did you see the onboard rates for the specialty restaurants?  We are trying to decide which route to go, but being a first time cruiser on the Allure (and RC) we don't have anything to base it off of.  Every now and then you run across a post that mentions the price but they are lower than I know they are currently at  (that's how things go these days).

Tonight was at at Izumi.   $35.  The other places I don't know.  Being a first on RC you might want to try a 3 night package to see if it is worth it to you. If you know for sure you want specialty restaurants every night you will save some ordering before you get on.

Any reason given? That would really disappoint me.

I have not heard.  Usually the answer is technical problems no matter what it is.  😂  They are saying they are rescheduling for Friday and Saturday.   I will be really disappointed.   I was thinking we were getting past things being canceled so much.

Hi John,    Looks like a Perfect Day!     Are you at South Beach?

Hey, you would be proud I made it through my first day back to work and drank lots of water (and coffee)😍

This was Labadee at Adrenaline Beach.  It was fun.   Today we are in Aruba and should be sailing away soon.  We went to Eagle Beach.

So thankful you are doing better.   We need to celebrate the recovery!  We will drink some for you 😉

Sorry to hear about your blisters.   Keep them clean and moist.😃

If someone could have a Mojito or Kraken colada with floater for me that would be awesome🥰

What is the Safe called? I found a different one on Amazon and want to compare.

I'd also consider a Pacsafe backpack.  Not the same as the safe, but the zippers can be locked and one of the straps can be locked to something like a pole or a chair.  We like it because it works as a secure backpack and also as a lockable safe.  Perfect for securing things to a chair or umbrella at the beach.  I don't think they make our specific model anymore, but it's a smaller Venturesafe model similar to this.

Catch up time.... Yesterday
Started the day out by the pool.   It was busy.
image.thumb.png.4f6884bd02eb2d4eb5643b17d7d9a464.png

Then we went to Johnny Rockets. Started off with fries and Onion Rings. Hot and good.

I had a Route 66, a Swiss burger and Sharon a BLT.  Mine was good but the BLT looked great.

Sabors
image.thumb.png.414fa34b09014d7a544e01fe59c233ea.png

Started with really good Guacamole and Salsa.
Guac_183026.thumb.jpg.2002722aed2498e9549f082212a180c4.jpg

Next Queso Fundido was just to cheesy and Ceviche Mixto which had to much cilantro for me.

Keith had some Chicken-Stuffed Jalapeños wrapped in bacon.   He thought they were great.

Solo had some Chicken and Corn Tortilla Soup which was good.

The current prices of the Specialty restaurants will be in your cruise planner. They are expensive, which is why the packages are popular.

As you approach the pier exit you will see signs showing the way.

Pub_092544.thumb.jpg.274f7e30779a0f577e309baa6b0aaefe.jpg

There are a lot of people trying to sell you an excursion.

Keep walking,  go between the buildings ahead then turn right.

As you cross the street you will see Diamond which is where you will be crossing the road to your left.

To get to the buses you can go between the buildings ahead or walk to your right and up a few stores where you will see an opening to the buses.  There you will buy your bus ticket.  This ticket covers the ride to Eagle Beach and the ride back to the ship.

Are you finding it a challenge to keep up with the live?  We are headed to Eagle Beach.

My only saving grace has been Starlink. I’m trying to keep up but it’s hard because I don’t have a lot of stamina right now with my shoulder hurting. What really hacked me off was I worked really, really hard on my chefs table post. First writing it in notes then copy and pasting it. I started uploading and inserting pictures. At one point I saved and submitted so I could edit on it more. On the second edit CC algorithm’s felt I was taking too long and cancelled me out. So I was stuck with one post that had no pictures half way through it. I had to make a new post to finish it. It looked sloppy and made me mad. I like my stuff to be neat and organized. It wouldn’t have happened if I could write from home on my computer and not my phone. Your live is fantastic and the same with John. You guys are real pros.

John is a pro.  This is only my third so I have a ways to go.  That's why we need to cruise more, more practice.  Someday we will cruise together and do a live together.   That would be nice.

My cruise friend was asking about the new iPhone and how the camera works.  I told him that you are a camera pro and said you like it.  We will see how long it will take him to buy one.

Off to sleep.  We get off early at Curacao.   Hope your shoulder gets better soon.
