Progress on new pier facilites is really slow

Camped out in Playmaker's to watch Game Day and noon football 

 

The Pitch completed another section. And yep, Laura's knitting

 

Speaking of knitting, Laura mad a new friend dur in coffee time in DL. Shirley. And she met us for lunch

 

We ordered 24 wings. Eyes bigger than stomach.  But truthfully, it was only $4 more for the second dozen

 

And the waiter brought us some water bottles

 

Adked about the pitcher with vouchers. Waiter said can't do that, but I could get it with my 50% off beer coupon. So $9 instead of $5. And I still keep a voucher

 

But by the time I ordered it, the keg was empty. So they went over to the pub, and this

Is all they had over there. So they just gave it to me. I got two glasses out of it

 

Massive fail on wings consumption. I think we ate 15, and mostly me. Ellen had 1. I'm so bloated

 

our game was Ohio St vs Iowa. Wasn't impressed with OSU offense. But they won big.

 

Watching Mizzou vs Vandy in room now.

 

Indy just blew her horn

 

Guess I gotta clean up for dinner, ciao

The Buckeyes offense was not clicking today at all.  Sometimes the Bye week hurts.  Thankfully the defense did the job.  Next week is the real test vs Penn State and then UMich!

As an OSU fan, I wasn't impressed with the first half either.  I have to give some of the credit to the Iowa defense.  They played very well.  The OSU offense played much better in the second half, and the OSU defense was great all game long.  Would love to see a Georgia vs. OSU natty, although Tennessee and Michigan may have something to say about that.

We are in VCL every afternoon from around 5:00 - 6:30.

Haven't noticed lately, but I'm pretty sure I saw some baseball this week. They have 3 big screens and a dozen little ones. But pretty much just 4-5 channels
