I don't get the casino offers since I really don't play much (if at all), but have been getting a lot of similar deals. For example, free room - just pay taxes and port fees - with enough OBC to almost cover the taxes and port fees. Just did a 4 nighter with just 1 port day where it ended up being so cheap we could use our cruising budget for more spa treatments and other extras than we normally would do. Get off the ship and they sent me the same offer again, so I booked another one for a longer cruise. Planning on taking advantage of as many of these and similar offers as I can while they last, as long as I can get the time off work!

That's the rub. People say they wish there were casinos on airplanes 😉

Frankly I'm surprised there aren't any. They could build slots, video poker, etc into the in-seat entertainment if nothing else.

Flying is a lottery these days anyway. 2nd Allegiant cancellation at short notice for us....struck of our list forever.

Just booked Casino offer on 22 day Trans Pacific Brisbane Australia to Seattle on the Luminous ....   $549 with $200 on board credit.     Plus $50 onboard casino play.   Free Drinks in Casino.  Balcony.    I have It on hold.... It is hard not to pass up even though we have several cruises booked on Celebrity for just taxes.          And I do not gamble very much at all.    I do believe that the cruise lines are looking to just fill heads in beds and are using the casino list with offers to fill the ships.

Couple days ago, we booked 30 days, Seattle to Brisbane

SHIP: CARNIVAL LUMINOSA
SAILS TO: (Start)SEATTLE, KETCHIKAN, ICY STRAIT POINT, CRUISE HUBBARD GLACIER, CROSS INTERNATIONAL DATE LINE, KUSHIRO, AOMORI, TOKYO, HIROSHIMA, NAGASAKI, PUERTO PRINCESA, BITUNG, BRISBANE

SAILING ON: SEPTEMBER 14, 2023 (Start)
RETURNING: OCTOBER 15, 2023 (Finish)

CLOUD 9 SPA BALCONY CABIN
$100pp

Yup, $200 total plus port fees and taxes are like $550 total, so we're all in for about $750

I also have free drinks everywhere (wife doesn't drink)

Airfare will be the killer, but so worth it

Be our longest trip ever. We are a bit concerned about what do we do? Do they plan special things for these longer cruises, like special menus and shows?

Congrats on your great deal!  I am also booked on this cruise as the 2nd part of a b2b.  First cruise is a 10 day Greece, Turkey and Italy cruise.  Both are casino deals!

Initially, was only going to book the TA but when I saw the 10 day one as a casino deal I just couldn't pass it up.  There is a roll call already started for this cruise and many of the people are doing the b2b too!  Come over to the roll call and sign in.

Not very active but it's early yet.

We just booked our first (14 day) transatlantic cruise too and it’s similar to yours. It starts in Barcelona Spain and ends in Orlando. We get $200 onboard credit, $500 in the casino and drinks on us (for the 2 of us) throughout the ship, we are in a balcony cabin on deck 8 and with taxes it cost us $508. They’re offering some amazing deals.

About a month ago, I got an offer for 16 day Panama canal Sept 2023 for $100 pp plus taxes and port fees.  Kid has wanted Panama for her entire life.

So it was a grand.  We get $200 onboard credit, both her and I have drinks anywhere and I get $500 casino cash.

Only issue I see, is that there's only 3 stops in those 16 days.  I'm either going to be extremely bored or extremely drunk.  Wonder how drunk bored works?

And I just had a friend book the same cruise with the same promotion.  She's thrilled!

On longer cruises with fewer ports like this one the cruise line always plans lots of extra activities you don’t normally see on a cruise. Our 14 day transatlantic cruise is a “journeys” cruise where they do extra stuff. Maybe your is too.
