Cruise packing?

Do you find it best to fold or roll your clothes?

I roll my clothes and use packing cubes. I’ve been able to consolidate down to a carry on and a personal bag

Roll’em. Carryon only for me. Wife brings carryon and beach bag.

If I'm doing carry on and aiming at maximizing content, I will roll them.   Big checked luggage, I lay them flat because I will run out of weight before I run out of space.

Mrs. Dawg rolls my clothes. She's tried to teach me her way to roll clothes but for some reason I have never been able to master it. 😉 😇

Because packing for a RCCL cruise is different than other lines. 
 

We fold our clothe and use them for padding around fragile items.

Dh rolls his. I fold.  Always pack too much.

I fold them, place them in a 2 1/2-gallon zip lock bag, and sit on the bag to let the air out.  Keeps everything dry in case the bag sits out on the tarmac during a rainstorm - been there, done that, clothes stayed dry even though the bag was wet inside.  

 

I even manage to fit my sports coat inside the zip lock bag.

I do both. It depends on the item. I roll and use packing cubes for underwear/socks/bathing suits, and for t shirts, shorts and capris. For dresses, shirts/blouses, long pants and jackets I either fold or use a modified bundling method. The trick is to use the straps to snug everything down when I'm finished packing. It's often the moving and shifting around during  transport that results in the worst wrinkles.

I never pack.Mrs.66 does everything.
