In regards to the earlier discussion on tipping, we went to fill out the form, while on the Equinox in October. We were informed by guest relations that, yes, a tip of the amount you selected would be given to the specific crew member. However, that individual wouldn't receive it for up to 2 weeks from the time the form was filled out and there is no mention of which guest issued the tip. So, we decided to give out the cash tips in person and withdrew our OBC through the casino. Thanks for the update. In the past I would hear from the crew member within a day and they knew where it came from. Different ship different protocols.

We are leaving out of the Long Beach airport. If we do self-assist walk off, does this even apply?
Rare Jim_Iain Posted December 8, 2022 Author #738 Share Posted December 8, 2022 Early morning as we had an 8:00 tour and lost an hour. We decided to eat in our room. While better than the Kelly TV table still cramped.

Rare Jim_Iain Posted December 8, 2022 Author #741 Share Posted December 8, 2022 We were all in line and quickly departed in two small busses. There were 24 of us. We turned in to Walmart. Where they had our Jeep’s waiting for us.
Rare Jim_Iain Posted December 8, 2022 Author #742 Share Posted December 8, 2022 10 minutes later we were off paired up with 4 in each deep. They said you needed a drivers license but just looked to see if all drivers had one. We were paired off with a nice couple from Oklahoma City. We passed a prison on way out of town.

It has always seemed a pity to me that they don't use the standard hotel style folding tables for room service, if they can't actually have a useable table in the cabin. ... but then you have to deal with the lack of suitable seating as well of course... 7 minutes ago, Jim_Iain said: Still loving your eye for color and composition in your photos, and that T-shirt is never going to get old... 🙂

sdnich Posted December 8, 2022 #748 Share Posted December 8, 2022 (edited) We love Puerto Vallarta!! And I am enjoying your review!! I just booked an alcove on our March Solstice cruise . I am curious about how busy they have been? If you have some time to snap a couple picture of the alcove and maybe a list of what comes with the cabana .It been hard to locate information . I am not sure if it is different on each ship or if it is just the different classes of ship ? I would really appreciate it ! They are 4 wheel drive stick on the floor. At much of the time the drivers had to put into 1st gear going both up and down some steep terrain.
