Red filters out at less than 15'   All our pics were pretty much blue from Roatan

I was snorkeling  here and those divers were going through the channel.  You could still see yellow pretty good, but if you shine a light cannon on a fish, even on a clear day, red comes back.

At Roatan the gang went to a restaurant which I think is called Beachers while Brillo and I was still snorkeling. Sharon brought back the BEST coconut 🥥 shrimp 🦐 I have ever had.  The pic does Not do it justice.  The shrimp was 3x wider than the ship shimp and the breading was perfect.

They were sooo good I continued with shrimp in the MDR.  I remember @Ocean Boysaying eat all the shrimp you can for your health!

Coconut shrimp from the MDR.

Those shrimp definitely look delicious!!!!        They were probably extra large jumbo shrimp 😁

I didn't think that they could pair without getting "confirmation" from the device they were connected to... at least, that's always been my experience with other Bluetooth devices.  Who would make hearing aids that randomly connect to a stranger's device?

And I still didn't see anyone using a device for anything other than taking pictures... you have to be pretty close for a Bluetooth connection. You'd think we'd be able to see someone watching a video or playing a game within Bluetooth distance.

I forgot to mention that I never "hear" anyone reading their kindles through my hearing aids. 🤣

I want to be at Mamma Mia tonight.

If I was at Mamma Mia tonight, I would start tearing up about a minute into the the overture before the play begins.  I am such a romantic, but I tear up when I think Memories is starting during Cats too in the Overture….

Apparently, I am a mess.  😂

I'm a regular at Maya Chan, and I always get Casita Six.  They greet you with a rum punch and a basket of homemade chips, salsa, and guacamole:

The view straight out from my casita -- it's very private and quiet, including my own hammock as seen on the left:

The view forward and right from my daybed in the casita:

John should be posting a pic of the taco buffet later, but here's a pic of my plate -- they have steak, chicken, pork, and sea bass for making tacos, and I can't choose just one (plus the homemade tortillas are small) so I had one of each, delicious as always:

We had a supervisor during lunch:

Here's a shot of the drink menu, but they will make pretty much anything.  I usually tell the staff to surprise me, and they bring me all kinds of fruity concoctions throughout the day.  If you're in a desserty mood, they have the Cookie Chan, which is a blended drink made with Oreo cookies, garnished with a whole Oreo.

And when John told me he took a feet picture for this thread, I had to take one of my own.  Sorry for the shiny legs, but I was still all slippery from my excellent massage:

This is supposed to be Carne Asada.  I had the Pulled Pork Enchilada last week, and it's not really an enchilada, just like this isn't really carne asada.

The Warm Chocolate Chip Cookie is actually a winner for a new dessert.  It's a ramekin of cookie dough, partially cooked so it's gooey on the inside:

Enjoy Mamma Mia!

It was great.  A different performer played the mom when we watched it in October but I believe the  mom tonight is the regular.  The other was still performing but a different part. They all sing so well.

Look for 8- and 9- nighters out of Miami and Fort Lauderdale. We did a 9-nighter out of Miami on Navigator back in 2018 that went to all three ABCs. Our tablemates raved about the snorkeling in Bonaire.

We did that cruise to the ABC's but out of San Juan, PR. We hired a sailboat and 3 man crew that took us snorkeling and fed us all day. The snorkeling in Bonaire was fabulous and only with a pool noodle and crew member by my side.

I’m really enjoying this review! You’re both doing a great job! I’m glad I finally am caught up here.

@Ozark_Kid, you and your crew really seem to know how to have a good time! It’s fun cruising along with you!

@brillohead, I want to go snorkeling with you! It’s hard to find a snorkel 🤿 buddy who wants to get in the water and snorkel for as long as I do, not  even my DH! Maybe some day our paths will cross. 😀
