Some nice perks/benefits being Diamond. You can get to D+ a lot faster than it took you to get to E+.

Dave...not sure if I told you, but we finally...finally booked a Celeb cruise!  Constellation end of next year.  Pretty cool cruise that leaves on 8 night out of Tampa and visits New Orleans!  🙂

Wahooo!!   Elite perks when we board!  😉

Right on. I like the itinerary. We just got off Celebrity's Apex. A lot of WOW factor on that class (E) of ship.  Did you book with the AI (Always Included) option? We book with the AI option. With Celebrity you are allowed to bring on two 750 ml bottles of wine per person. The CC HH for Elite and above is only in the evening from 5 to 7 at most bars. No CC HH on the first night of the cruise. CC HH drinks are from the CC HH beverage menu. Similar to what the CAS beverage menu was. The Elite perks/benefits are good. You and Bucky may like the Reflections Lounge deck 11 for your pre dinner drinks. Similar to the VCL.

We are Aqua class....the basic drink package is included, as far as I know.  Biggest thing is we are interested in Blu for dining.  🙂

Yes, you'll get the CBP.  That's the package we always get and have no issues with the selections. We stuck with Santa Helena Pinot Grigio and Sauvignon Blanc and Mondavi Sauvignon Blanc. Beer choices were plentiful.  Brought home a bottle of Santa Helena Sauvignon Blanc we received as gift for booking a future cruise while onboard.

Another huge plus for us is Celebrity doesn't allow any inside smoking. Fleetwide.

Sounds like Celebrity has won you over. 🙂

We have Equinox booked next year, booking came with Free Internet, Free Gratuities  and the  Free Drink Package. Also got $600 OBC.

Being we are Diamond Plus,    ,what does that make us on Celebrity? anything added that we are not getting free all ready?

We are booked in a V1  Prime Veranda. 9 night Italian Rivera & France

Celebrity won us over in1994. 😁 But so has RC.

You will be Elite with Celebrity. You will still each get the wash n fold laundry bag. The CC doesn't have a dedicated lounge for it's members and the CC HH drinks are unlimited from 5 to 7 but since you have the AI package, that's not an issue.

Now That....is a perk I did not know about.   Yaaaaahhhh!!!   🤗

Ironically, now that we turned Pinnie a while back...we are booking with other lines.  😉   Nice though that they do throw us a bone and give us Elite level on Celeb.

It's actually Viking I am pretty excited about, but also looking forward to being first time on "Connie", first time on Celeb.  🙂

That first Celebrity cruise with Elite status was terrific.  The benefits are different on the 2 lines, but both a good. Amazing to walk on a ship and have immediate loyalty status.   The Elite continental breakfast (do they still do that/) included limited alcohol and back then we had access to Michael's Club.  I think it is restricted to high end suites now.   We do Aqua class and enjoy Blu.  We find to so much better than CK.

And, I don't know why, but on that first Celebrity cruise, we were asked to have dinner with the captain!  What a great time.

We've enjoyed every Celebrity cruise we've taken and know there are more in the future.

So, for the Celebrity devotees - have you cruised with Perry Grant?   He is hilarious!   For a while we seemed to be on his schedule and caught his act  on several cruises.

Yes. Still a perk for Elite and above. On M & S class ships, it's held in the Tuscan Grille. On the E class ships it's usually held in Le Grand Bistro. 8 to 10 AM every morning. Michael's Club is now the Retreat Lounge.

They as @davekathy said, they still do the Elite Breakfast but Elite no longer has access to Michael's Club/Retreat Lounge.  That is reserved for guest sailing in a Sky Suite or higher.

We enjoyed Blu when we sailed in Aqua but both my DW and I find Luminae more to our liking, especially on the non-E Class ships because of being able to order off the MDR menu.

Aww...that's a shame.  So the crew members don't wear them any more?  🤪

Especially since Celebrity doesn't hand out tier level name tags/pins. 🙃 We have pins from when paid to join Celebrity's Founders Club in 1994. 😜

Smoke does help keep us out.  😄   But not much of a gambler anyway.  😉

The only time we hit the casino is when cruising with RC and that's only to use our free casino perks. Celebrity doesn't offer that perk.

We as well, and to take out OBC left over.   Brought my sister down to play her 8.00 promo (the first two day promo)...and she won 46.00.  Nice sister I am!  😉
