Legs 1 and 2 you stay put. Likely no muster.  Legs 2 and 3 you move and they assist you , if needed.  Pack drawered items in suitcase, leave hanging items as is and they will bring a trolley.  Likely need to muster.

Voila.

You will be given a letter in your cabin telling you the information for each B2B.

Our expereince has been that you meet in a designated place the morning of turnaround, go off the ship as a group to a special holding area and then go back through customs and reboard the ship as a good once zero count has been achieved.  You'll board ahead of new passengers just joining the cruise.

You will be required to report to your muster station for each cruise, even if it does not changed.

When we did not have to shift rooms, we told our room steward not to bother with the room on turn around day so we could simply come back to the room and hang out until time for lunch.

In our opinion Celebrity does a much better job of handing the B2B process than Royal Caribbean did.

How does X handle this? We'll be on Beyond in the Spring 2024 out of Ft Lauderdale, we do have the same cabin for the first 2 sailings though different on the 3rd.

You will receive a detailed letter in your stateroom a day or two prior to the second leg (and for the third leg) with all the info you will need. You will have to do muster for each leg.

I guess that is the current edict, but in the past, as long as we stayed in same cabin/muster station, we could avoid the B2B muster, but admit that it was a few years ago.

Most other lines do allow you to skip it if you are in same cabin.

Wrong. Not current. That has never been our experiences on any of our B2B Celebrity cruises matter when. Muster for all legs is still a requirement on RC.

Didn't have to muster B2B same cabin on Azamara, Oceania, Princess, NCL.

But since we have 2 B2B on =X= in the next year, same cabin, good to know to be ready on turnover day.

Agree with Princess. No experience with the others. IMO, the current way Celebrity does musters it's a breeze.

Thanks to all for input. We have no issue with duplicating muster if need.  Question, if we wanted to make this a port day to enjoy Lauderdale, would that be an option or wait for protocol with sailing next year?

Yes. Go to GS and get a in transit pass. You'll be able to leave the ship once it's cleared. On returning to the ship show your in transit pass. All you need to do is go thru security and straight on the ship.

Heck, recently back from a Carnival fjords cruise. They did muster in small groups. As you boarded, you went direct to cabin, collect cruise card, report to muster station and someone went over the drill in small group setting.  Took all of 6-7 minutes

You need to show up at the muster station on each leg of the cruise

I have done b2b on Celebrity for many years and we always had to muster.

Gee, I wouldn't have known that if it hadn't been told to me.

Many times

We’ve done at least 20 B2Bs and getting back on the ship depends on how you get off the ship. If you meet on the ship to walk off with the other B2Bers,  depending where you are docked they take you into the terminal and then back on the ship. This is before the new passengers board.

If you get off in the morning, and leave the terminal to go shopping or site seeing, they will give you a pass that allows you to skip the lines but you will still have to go through security. You will have to wait to reboard until it’s opened to the new passengers. We know many people that got off to go shopping but they never got back until the afternoon and boarding was going on already.

This was all prepandemic.

Since the resumption of cruises we have done several B2B, one B2B2B and one B2B2B2B.  @grandgeezer:  Your information is still pertinent.

But just a few comments to our OP:  Prior to each turnaround day you should receive an info packet which should contain the "In Transit" pass; if you don't have one then contact Guest Relations.  And B2B passengers are invited to attend the Concierge Class embarkation luncheon.

Also there is a small discount (not OBC) for B2B legs; make sure you have it on your confirmation copies.  Frequently travel agents need to be told to ask for it, or if you booked directly with Celebrity make sure it was applied.
