Cafe al Bacio question Elite Plus

Captain's Club lists free cappuccino, latte, and tea as a perk for Elite Plus. If we do not have a drink package, can we get these for free anytime at Cafe al Bacio and at meals in the restaurant? For those of you at this level, have you had any difficulty utilizing this perk or are there any limitations? Because of the cuts in service and perks, we are thinking about downgrading from our usual Sky Suite to balcony/AQ for possible future bookings but would definitely not want to purchase a drink package (the 2 free nightly Elite Plus drinks and an occasional self-pay beverage would be sufficient).

All you need to do is present your card at Al Bacio it is already coded that you are a CC Elite+ and your status will also so on your SeaPass.    No action other than ordering is required on your side.    Enjoy as many as you wish.    At Al Bacio they also have free pastries in the morning and cakes and sweets in the afternoon evening.

unlimited hot and iced versions.

Also from the Passport Bar and the casino bar - anywhere with an espresso machine but only Al Bacio has the full range.

I had no idea coffee drinks were available at these 2 places. Thank you!

I remember some pretty good fritters many years past.    Think I saw them in the past 1-2 years but were tiny and really not very good.     Recently they have been having the Sticky buns... but not really sticky...just a little goo in the middle.

Must be a difference between English and American Fritters. English are served hot otherwise the outer covering of batter would taste horrible. As the Al Bacio has no "hot food' section serving fitters is impossible.

Just want to mention that as Elite plus when we were on the Celebrity Equinox in November they charged us a couple of times for the coffee in Al Bacio.   Keep an eye on your account daily.   Guest services were alway very accommodating and had the charge removed for us.

The staff is so busy at times mistakes do happen

I wonder if they should put in an expresso machine at the gelato station and open that up when the main station is very busy

It's unlimited drinks for Elite and above, from a menu and not on embarkation night.

It’s not 2 free drinks per night.  It’s unlimited between 5 and 7
