thosby Posted February 4 #157 Share Posted February 4 Thank you, Rob, for your very informative communications. We boarded Serenity yesterday, and your insights and the conversations you triggered have been a real asset in understanding the New Crystal and preparing for this cruise.

oakridger Posted February 5 #161 Share Posted February 5 39 minutes ago, History&Wine said: VERY rough seas now. Captain’s party cancelled. Show tonight cancelled. I can imagine! The weather here in the Bay Area has been wild and windy all day and south from here even more so. 😲 Wishing you smooth seas quickly and have a wonderful trip! I'll be following along with anyone on board who wishes to comment. ~Nancy
fisherboe Posted February 5 #162 Share Posted February 5 We just checked on Serenity’s position and thinking about what the seas must be like tonight. The slightly southern track made us think it might be rough. We’re up in the Bay Area too and it’s the strongest sustained storm in the last few years - and it’s coming from the south. Hoping for calmer seas tomorrow.
Rare Keith1010 Posted February 5 #163 Share Posted February 5 I hope the seas calm soon for all of you. Also, hoping that all of you who ive in California are safe and well. Keith

Are you in one of the solo cabins? If yes, how is your overall experience on that cabin and specially now with rough seas? Since this thread was intended only until February 3rd, maybe you or a fellow cruiser currently on board could start a new thread for the current sailing? That would be nice. vistaman Posted February 5 #165 Share Posted February 5 Thank you for all those pictures and copies of daily program and menus However Crystal still is having a very expensive wine list ( non complimentary ) 500 $ for a Dom P ?? They can compete for the most expensive wine list on the seas with Explora and Oceania; gold silver adn bronze All my booked cruises - 5 - are in Europe so , when the OBC is finished shopping in France and Italy and Greece. I do not understand it as the present owner aways did have very reasonable - even cheap - prices for special wines on the company he previosusly owned ...
