Can we talk about this Country Style Pate?

This is the "Country Style Pate" served on Discovery Princess tonight in the main dining room. It was good and I enjoyed it but...***** was this presentation? Am I crazy that this look like cat food?

It would be nice if served in a jar, or something similar, with a knife for spreading on the toast.

Did the kitchen run out of small serving dishes for that 'pate'!!!!

Even if the taste was okay (good),  that is a pass for me as well.

 

Was that supposed to be a starter???

I was going to make a comment on your live from, but didn't want to come off as insulting!  It totally looks like cat food and they seriously need to figure out another way to serve it. 

 

Hope you enjoyed it, no matter how it looked.

I love pate, but, yikes. Even something about the toast bothers me; looks like something leftover from the breakfast buffet.

Okay,  admitted I am NO 'pate' expert....  so I searched images.

Something as simply as a scoop or small bowl might help!

The title to this is  Best French Country Pate......

I’ve had the pate in the MDR and don’t remember it looking like that. Are you sure you didn’t order refried beans for Mexican night?

I’ve had it often too and it never looked like that. I can’t imagine anything more unappetizing!
