HoneyBubba Posted April 22 #402 Share Posted April 22 What is the app you are using for the ship tracking? Great idea with the calendar. We are doing the 2025 TA and first time we have a lot of sea days. That will be a tracking method.

We are doing the 2025 TA and first time we have a lot of sea days. That will be a tracking method. I always make a calendar at home, it is a very easy reference as to where we are and when we will be there!
Rare LACruiser88 Posted April 23 Author #404 Share Posted April 23 We just had "Ocean Terrace" sushi lunch at The Catch (sushi available at lunch only on sea days) with our new Aussie friends. Great meal and had a super time! All four of us had the set menu. It was delicious and plentiful.
Rare LACruiser88 Posted April 23 Author #405 Share Posted April 23 (edited) Debbie has found a new afternoon pastime and a new favorite game. For the past three days at 2 pm, she has been meeting with a group of fellow passengers we met at Vines, at the Double Down Lounge to play Left-Right-Center, a dice game. 🎲 There have been 8 to 12 players. I watched the first day. But since I don't play well with others, I have been retreating to our cabin for some quiet reading time! 🤪 Edited April 23 by LACruiser88
Rare LACruiser88 Posted April 23 Author #406 Share Posted April 23 Tonight we had our second dinner at The Catch. It did not dissapoint!!! Debbie had the Tale of Citrus Marinated Lobster Tail for her appetizer. I had the Calamari Appetizer. Debbie had the Concerto Linguine for her main course. I had the Dover Sole. Photo before tableside deboning. After deboning Parmesan Fries We both had the "Chantilly Lace" (vanilla ice cream filled) for dessert.

It is more like Americanized than authentic
Rare LACruiser88 Posted April 23 Author #411 Share Posted April 23 It is now 1:20 pm and even though it's in the 80's, it did not clear-up. It is actually looking worse.

Very authentic Chinese, with dishes from all around China not just Cantonese.

Particularly if you don’t live in an area with many Asians.

The best day we had there was when we rented a car and drove around the island. We found several nice beaches. A couple of times we took the ferry to Moorea for a beach day. On this trip, we are going black pearl shopping with a senior staff officer. He has enlisted Debbie as his negotiator. Her specialty! No plans for our second day? 🤷♂️ Can you recommend a shop or two. My aunt wants to purchase loose pearls for jewelry making and is wondering if they have 2nd hand pearls or slightly imperfect. Any suggestions appreciated

Any suggestions appreciated There are a LOT of folks selling black pearls in the Municipal Market that is across the street and a half block in from where the ship docks. No idea of quality but basically you can't throw a stone without hitting someone selling black pearls when in French Polynesia.
