Thanks.  Our Solstice transpacific has its double day on Apr 18 next year. I thought your itinerary would have the same double day on Apr 18

@mahdnc Aloha David! I hope you're having a good sea day on Summit!!

Jim ..would love your thoughts..

Are you finding the cruise a good balance of events and relaxation?  Is the  time moving along quickly..or at a good pace?

Certainly a lot different than the crossing ceremony I had on my first crossing in 1970 on a US Navy warship ... trash chutes, shillelagh (made from old water hoses), a dunking pool, and crawling pas shillelagh wielding shellbacks from starboard mid-ships, up around the bow, and back down the port side to the fantail where all the fun and games really happened.   The crossings there after where a lot more fun for me!

Jim,

As always, I so enjoy you live from posts.  I notice on this trip there are not as many reports from the suite and room service and Luminae dining. Maybe they are on your videos.  I miss them.  Just as Karen  and I miss sailing with you.

Nice balance and time is both relaxing for us, except eating far too much.

I would say they have all the bases covered for both those that like to find a quiet place to relax without blaring music 🎶.  As well as active high energy activities planned.

I think it is like home.  We get into a routine and enjoy our mornings.  Late afternoon and evenings we meet with friend for drink pre-dinner.

For those that enjoy a hustle bustle action packed day, that is also available.

B2B letter was just dropped in cabin.   There will not be a B2B meeting.  Pretty standard B2B and suite guests will be processed separately.

Thanks.. happy to hear this. Perhaps a return to S Class will be our new sweet spot..we like fun and being active but downtime and couples time is also important to us!

Thanks Jim! It is such a pleasure to sail with you and Iain. This sailing and the ship are great - we love the S class. We have met so many nice people on board creating a wonderful experience that we will alway remember.

I think that your tier points keep track of your spend. From Celebrity:

Tier points are earned when gaming in the casino. 1 tier point is earned for $1 wagered on a slot machine, $2 wagered on a video poker machine.

The other option is to count your spins but that is no fun. What I do is just periodically check my personal banker to see if I am able to take out more. Safe travels and will see you onboard.

I do what Jim does, I just in my head keep a general idea - for example:

I put in 20.00. I spin for a while, and keep rough track of my little wins.  Then at some point, around 15.00 I start checking my personal banker regularly to see if if the transfer button shows up.  Note that if you've played enough to get a 1.00 free play, you actually have to check that room transfer (whatever it's called) is available.

I then start checking every few spins.

That said, I like playing and since it's cumulative over the whole cruise, I probably could straight cash out, but I like to play some.  Lately I've been winning a bit, so I cash out when I'm 2.00 over what I put in.  I think I'm getting a lot of bet collateral.

Can only imagine -  been chatting with a fellow Zenith that was a Captain with Coast Guard and showed some of the pictures from their "Parties".

I'm sure your Mermaid / Merman didn't look anything like this

What a treat to be at your Honoring Ceremony.   I sent a link to Linda via Facebook of a private video I made for you.

Amsterdam (AMS);is the main airport for both Amsterdam and Rotterdam

Yes... AMS is about 1/2 way between the two ports.   That's is why it really didn't matter to us.

Thanks for letting me know of the $5 free spins..... I lost it in less than 1 minute.

Good Morning from the Equator.     We passed the equator at 6:40 last evening.   There were many post on our Facebook Group with actual compass and GPS locations as many were watching for the exact moment.

About all we have planned for today is an invitation to the Bridge for a friends Zenith initiation -  Bill and Linda.     That will be followed with the Neptune Party, which is a tradition of all sailing vessels when they cross the equator.    Those that are crossing are initiated with food being dumped on them an kissing a fish.

Good morning from the Atlantic! What was the date of your equator crossing?

You are correct sir and neither did the chorus 'girls' that danced for us in the Wog Queen contest.

We crossed the equator on 4/20/24 at 17:24.   They did not have the celebration until 4/21
