Using diamond benefits on a Celebrity Cruise

Recommended Posts

I’m now diamond on RCI, if I’m understanding correctly I can use the benefits offered for this level on Celebrity ( cruising with them next year ) .I am a member of the Captains club.

Do I need to notify Celebrity of my RCI status level before i cruise , is there a certain department I call?

Thanks

Celebrity has their own benefits. Not the same. You should get elite I think. My account updated automatically.

They do get a happy hour with free drinks. I remember a wee bit of wifi.

Login to your Captain’s Club account (same login info as RCI) and confirm you are already listed as Elite.

Hi, I just checked the app and it states I am ‘ select ‘ level on celebrity

The only way for you to become elite is to reach 300 club points with celebrity. We waited until we were diamond before we sail with Celebrity.

Select I assume is casino, not sure.

Might have to confirm with celebrity if it's not correct.

Apologies, it’s getting confusing.  I’m already diamond on Royal Caribbean but only select ( level below elite ) on Celebrity.

Have you logged in to Celebrity? It's the same login that you use for Royal Caribbean. I am Diamond with RCI. I have never cruised with Celebrity but I just logged in (using my Royal Caribbean login info) and it shows I am Elite with 0 Captain's Club points.

It's a status match on Celebrity, not a benefits match. You just get the Celebrity benefits of whatever status your RC one matches up with.

Yes it is a status match with celebrity but you will need the number of points on celebrity to become elite. Here and example if you are pinnacle with royal you will only have elite status on celebrity.

Don't forget Elites each get a free bag of laundry,  While the don't have a lounge Elites have on of the specialty restaurants for them for breakfast.  includes a couple of breakfast cocktails.

Something is amiss as D on RCI corresponds to Elite on CC - you’ll need to call them to see what’s wrong.

Look at your own chart that you posted. Diamond=Elite. 😄

Yes after you have 300 point.

It doesn't say anything about 300 points. We will be Elite when we board. You can't move to Elite Plus without points, because you are starting at the Elite tier with 0 points.

Royal's Diamond, Diamond Plus and Pinnacle are all status matched with Elite Celebrity!! You don't need any points for that!!

But if the OP sailed once with celebrity and used her royal status to become select. They are not going to make her elite.

We are members of Captain's Club, too. 😊 Never sailed with them. I called up Crown & Anchor to get membership cards a while back. Instead, they sent us fancy plastic Celebrity Captain's Club cards with our names on them. Still Elite. 😊

Sailing on Celebrity in 2026.

My very first cruise on Celebrity I was elite because of rccl diamond, since I book suites I have never used an elite perk , diamond perks are way better than elite perks .
