Is there any way to get non refundable cruise credit refunded?

Did you type something wrong in your comment? Obviously non-refundable OBC is never refunded, so I assume you mistyped something in your question.

Thank you so much for your answer. As a non casino player I’m sorry to sound stupid but how do you cash out on a slot machine please?
many thanks

Transfer the OBC amount to the machine and cash out.

I think “non-refundable” is pretty self explanatory.

As you see, where there’s a will there’s a way! 🤣

Have you tried it lately? The last few times I have had non-refundable OBC, slot machines on Symphony and Allure would not let me print out a voucher until after I started playing the OBC, with any vouchers I printed only reflecting money I had won until I had played all the OBC. Basically, the machines treated the non-refundable OBC similar to how Free Play associated with casino offers is treated. Of course it’s possible there’s some trick I don’t know since I rarely get non-refundable OBC these days.

My guess is too many people knew about the old way of using slot machines to get cash, so RCI/casino got smart and closed that “loophole”.

I was on the Symphony last week.  There is a note in the compass that non-refundable credits transfered in the casino will as a promotional credit and cannot be cashed out.

Yup this is new news for myself.

The loophole still exists through the casino. Instead of promotional slot play, do promotional table game play. If you have two people and don't want to "gamble", play roulette and have one bet on red and the other on black (minimum bet size to avoid loosing the whole balance on a 0/00 hit). Or just place chips on whatever numbers/set of numbers/color you'd like. The nice thing about roulette is your expected loss is the same no matter what bet you make, except the "first five" bet.

Currently on Anthem.  I had $60 non-refundable OBC.  Transferred it to a slot and played 3-4 pulls.  Ended up with $60.05 and hit the "cash out" button.  Worked for me.

Try cashing out the OBC in casino on a slot machine?

Amazing how condescending people can be though ... until they are educated , then suddenly it gets real quiet

LOL

Go to the casino and charge an amount at a time to your cabin.   Then print out ticket and cash it at the Cashier.  There may be slight charge associated with the transaction.

I take as little cash as possible/needed and charge the gambling amounts to my cabin.  These amounts are charged to my CC for which I earn points.  Treated as a charge and not a cash advance.

Or, if you’re a drinker, buy your favorite booze in the store with the obc and take it home.
Not an actual refund but a way to use it without losing it.
