Current concierges?

Yes, Francois is the best! He arranged a sit down breakfast for suite pax when we sailed Serenade in Feb. and then escorted us off the ship and into the terminal to get our luggage. No one else off with us, so getting luggage was super easy! I wish all the concierges did this. He even remembered me from Navigator in 2005!

Just had an email from his this morning as we are cruising on Liberty next week. He is Francois Roux. Have not met him yet. We will disembark mid November so can tell you more then (and I will check if he will be on the ship for the December sailings).

 

This is huge news? When on earth did Francois move ships? He loved Serenade and was looking forward to going to Europe with her next summer for her Mediterranean cruises. He is wonderful. And as someone else mentioned, we have never seen another concierge walk the suite guests all the way off the ship and help them find their luggage.

Who is the current Concierge on the Liberty? We will be cruising in December.

 

I found out that Francois will be on Liberty until December 15th. I hope you will be on before that time so you can experience his charm, style and great attention to detail.

His new contract begins on Feb 4th and hopefully back on Serenade. I suppose it depends on whether or not Liberty management is successful in stealing him away. It seems you will just miss him either way. :(

Sometimes the first and only impression someone gets of a crew member isn't always the greatest. I know I've been quick to judge that way only to realize on a later cruise how much I really like the person. Sometimes one incident clouds our impression. Or maybe someone has just had an off week. Go into it with an open mind and no preconceived idea and maybe she'll be just fine - or better.

Very well said. As a matter of fact, that is exactly what happened with us in regards to Francois. The first time we had him we thought he was awful. The second time he was fabulous.

Received our email from him as well;). I have had the great fortune to sail with him before and he ranks up in my top 3! He is fantastic, imho, and had even already taken care of one of our requests and responded back within hours. He is the creme de la creme:D See you next week aboard the Liberty TA and in the CL...

Couldn't agree more. Just made my day knowing he will be handling the CL during the TA and all that entails:eek: with so many suite guests and D+. Should be interesting....

Just received an e-mail from Luca, he will be leaving Mariner to go on Vacation when she

docks in Galveston. I believe he said Nadia will be taking over for him.

This was the first time this past cruise we got to use the diamond lounge since we became diamond cause of size of ship we was on before this. But had Rahul he was great!

 

Now being new at this how much do you tip them...did you tip each night or at the end. I did at the end and wanted to make sure for next time that I tipped enough...so honest answers would appreciate.
