  1. The operating hours of those venues should be listed in the app - set the app to the current three day sailing.
  2. It all depends on how many ships are there and the timing of the excursion return, but yes, the lines for the cable car can be long.
  3. Use the umbrellas next to the loungers for shade, not trees or other structures.
  4. Welcome to CC and coming out of a long lurk mode. That itinerary is somewhat unique so the show schedule will be altered a bit, but you can set the app to the current sailing to get an idea of shows and timing.
  5. The GGG flier usually mentions that in small print but don't recall that being on any other kind of booking.
  6. It depends on your definition of "worse" - it could be any OV balcony.
  7. The paid version could be longer. The free version usually only shows up at certain times/days in the app so you need to be fast to book.
  8. On ships which still use magnetic stripe cards (Allure, Freedom class and older), there's a very slight chance of that happening.
  9. You'd have to find an agent with access to group rates - not all do.
  10. I assume the OP meant the on board price. The planner price can be found with the hack in this thread:
  11. It's typically posted at the venue and the coffees w/alcohol are around $10-12 - not sure they would accommodate putting a second shot in the drink w/one voucher.
  12. Yes, Royal Up offers are not based on available inventory. Also, the info they collect (what people are willing to bid) gets them valuable info.
  13. " Miray Cruises said it replaced Gemini with a newer, larger ship, Lara, for Life at Sea Cruises, the three-year world cruise concept. Though Miray declined to confirm Lara's former name, multiple sources indicated it is the 2003-built AIDAaura. The Life at Sea website describes Lara as 42,289gt with 627 cabins and capacity for 1,266 passengers — the identical size as AIDAaura. And a rendering of the ship there shows a profile resembling AIDAaura's. Carnival Corp. & plc confirmed the sale of AIDAaura, without identifying the buyer, to Seatrade Cruise News. Early this year, AIDA Cruises said the ship would be leaving its fleet in September after a series of farewell voyages. It is currently on a 12-day British Isles cruise round-trip Hamburg. New livery in Bremerhaven and further work in Istanbul A public relations person for Miray Cruises said the vessel it's calling Lara would be handed over at the end of September. She said the hull will be repainted in Bremerhaven and some cabins and public spaces will be refurbished in Istanbul and a new business center and wine and cigar bar will be installed. Life at Sea Cruises is scheduled to embark Nov. 1 from Istanbul on a three-year voyage the company said will cover more than 130,000 miles, visiting 382 ports across 148 countries and all seven continents. Unanswered questions Miray has not responded to questions about deposits, refunds and claims by former Life at Sea Cruises Managing Director Mikael Petterson, who had voiced concerns about Gemini's ability to operate the program and is no longer associated with the company. Gemini, built in 1992 as Crown Jewel, earlier this year housed Turkish earthquake refugees. On Thursday, Miray said that with Lara's addition, Gemini is now slated to continue operating Aegean Sea voyages." Miray Cruises is the reported buyer of AIDAaura (seatrade-cruise.com)
  14. Wifi signal is very location dependent - assume you'll have a usable signal and adjust as needed if not.
  15. That's the thing - "overcrowded" is very subjective. For many, as long as they find a lounger in a decent spot they likely don't care how "crowded" things may seem. It also likely varies between sailings, by weather, time of day, etc. If you leave the ship fairly early, even with Symphony, you'll likely to find a decent spot.
  16. Very unlikely - they would do that later to perhaps an MTD reservation holder. With traditional dining, that table is yours and they typically won't give it away to another traditional diner.
  17. That may vary by cabin attendant but if you talk to him/her you can probably come to an agreement.
  18. That's about as subjective and variable as the food in the MDR. BTW, your passenger numbers are a bit higher than actual capacity.
  19. In that case, like you did, you ask for a refund. Even RCI itself probably doesn't know where it actually works well - that is very situation dependent. Also, what you experienced could have been a temporary outage of the nearest access point - very unlikely the hallway outside your cabin wouldn't normally have a usable signal.
  20. You can, but some may worry that the ship won't get it to the right person and rather hand out cash directly.
  21. You usually get repriced to the current pricing if you change cabin categories or other major change.
