  1. So are their two Gbenjo’s around, or maybe more, one poster talks about his hair, certain the one I met was lacking in that department, another claimed he was a Nice man.
  2. Or skip the water and drink something enjoyable. Scotch for uncle Les, Diet Coke for me,
  3. I’ll take either, been eating a lot of prawns lately, seem to be a good supply and price is pretty good too at the moment, can’t say I have seen good lobster at a good price so far this year,
  4. Agree that to a large extent smaller is better, but I also think there is too small. My sweet spot would be 300-700 hundred, unless it was all family and friends. Pacific Princess was by far our favourite ship. But a yacht of upto about 50 has also been wonderful.
  5. Now days I’d do it in half that, I cheat and rip along in a wheelchair.
  6. Ok so Grand will definitely be the OPT it is opposite the Opera House and maybe a 15 minute walk, bear in mind my body is shot so it may even be less. But it has been a long time since I was inside the Concert hall so wouldn’t even guess at which seat.
  7. My cruising days could be over due to failing health but have cruised numerous lines, all else being equal we are likely to go Princess, but Time Itinerary Price are all big considerations. we would probably look to Celebrity next, but the abov3 factors are still crucial.
  8. I like both lines and have said numerous times that if there was no label I would notice as much difference between two ships from the same line as one ship from each line. In other words in my opinion more alike than different.
  9. I always just ask on the first day, never been a problem.
  10. I gave up alcohol years ago, but always get the non alcohol package, soft drink mainly the odd coffee a mocktail or two, but really you need to do th3 sums. Next question you need to consider is if you will drink enough alcoholic drinks to justify the package.
  11. A family we know is constantly asking for people to bring snails to them.
  12. I suspect my cruise days are over, or very close to. I know that will impact other people, but I have to do what is right for me. All I can suggest for your friend is that as he obtains treatment for his panic disorder he consider if a cruise is “doable” and perhaps they a short cruise if he “thinks” it might work. But if people try to pressure him it may make things worse no matter their good intentions.
  13. That’s certainly an option. Easy walk to Circular Quay Station.
  14. We would largely agree. Only done the one P&O, much rather Princess, seems a lot of petty charges on P&O. Would we sail with them again? Yep if friends were going, if the itinerary was right or if guest entertainers took our fancy, but they offer nothing that would lure us from Princess not even pricing, but I guess that’s why Carnival Corp keep multiple brands, to offer variety.
  15. Yep, that is doable. Wouldn’t be my choice but sounds like it would suit you. You could also consider the Bondi to Brontë coastal walk.
  16. It is really an easy walk. About 500 metres and pretty flat, before I started using a wheelchair even I could probably have done it.
  17. Sorry some are obnoxious, but I guess seeing me and Mrs Gut makes up for them.
  18. I carry a man bag, so much medical crap to cart around, and it is only 10 to 25 $2 coins, nowhere near 1/2 kg.
