  1. Afaik a domestic cruise was one that didn't require a passport to travel ie did not visit any other countries (Willis Is doesn't count 🤣)
  2. So coverage only for international cruises any domestic ones are not covered. Kind of makes the annual policy worthless if you do any local cruising as well?
  3. Does Qantas do cruise coverage? Last time I tried running a quote through them there was no mention of cruise coverage in their pds and no option to select it when quoting a policy? Given their great phone service for flights I wasn't keen to check by phone so they missed my business.
  4. We had no problems doing this on our last cruise in January. I purchased Plus once on board and my wife didn't have a package at all. And yes it was the Plus package not just the drinks package before the questions start.
  5. You can always buy the Plus or Premier on board for one person in each cabin. The requirement for both is just when you book your cruise.
  6. You guys might have a different sale to us downunder but ours says "Up to 20% off" which fits right in with their 0% off that they have on most of their excursions that I have looked at 🙄
  7. Looking at various insurance options myself lately and wondering if the cancellation cover is worth the paper it is printed on when you read the pds..... The list of exceptions as to why they won't payout a cancellation are way longer than those that they will it seems
  8. I can't imagine us spending the non refundable OBC let alone making a dent in the refundable but it is a carry over from a pre covid move-over cruise so we will find a way 🤷‍♂️
  9. For as long as I can remember the kids club (all age groups) are closed between from noon to 1pm on sea days and 5pm to 6pm everyday. So it is safe to say it will be outside these hours, pretty sure it was 3 to 4pm on our last cruise but the information will be in your cabin when you board if you have pre-registered for the Teen club online.
  10. We have a 10 day cruise coming up with over 5k of refundable OBC so it is good to hear that it does come back in a reasonable time fame as I can't see us spending it all....
  11. I get the same error for cruises booked on Discovery and Diamond. No matter what I do I cannot get a booking to go through....
  12. We found that vines was normally full of people just hanging out rather than using Vines so there was never any seating so we just didn't bother last cruise.
  13. They get the old fashioned cruise card. The medallion is considered a choking hazard for toddlers which is why they do not get one. As they will be in the room with an adult it is unlikely that they will be roaming the ship alone but the cruise card will open the room and can be scanned by security when leaving the ship etc. (though the last toddler I saw they just scanned the parent and glanced at the cruise card)

  15. We have had that error since the new app launched. Haven't been able to book a specialty restaurant booking since, so helpful this new app idea. About as helpful as our CVP who won't return phone calls....
  16. We travel with our son so having 3 in the suite we tend to send laundry out daily to keep the bag small. Never had a problem with the frequency or amount that we send and always back the same day.

  18. I wish Princess would make it public that any passenger may sit on a bar stool regardless of age or gender............ Also if they could wrap tips into fares so we no longer have to hear silly arguments about why everyone has to tip every person under the sun that would be great too 😉

  22. The warning in NZ is the PA notices, signs and the Patter. Ignore them and you get the fine 🤷‍♂️
