  1. Come on. That would be WAY too simple.
  2. Yeah they have always been flexible on extending final payment (even without FCC) or getting the FCC expedited if final payment is near.
  3. It can take a few months depending on the situation. If your cruise isn't anywhere near final payment they will get to it eventually.
  4. The tree is unique to Apex. The Tree of Life show isn't on Edge or Beyond. Beyond has a different feature (an 'Air Fountain' I believe is what they call it?) which is used in the Elements show. I don't think Edge has a special feature. If it does I'm drawing a blank on what it is.
  5. I've done it on land trips where I could find wash and fold laundries and do casual dinners. Could never do it on a cruise. Not even a 7 night. We dress for dinner, workout in the morning, another outfit for sight seeing, etc. At least 3 changes of clothes a day. It's just not practical, even with sending out laundry on the ship.
  6. The 30% off is gone for now and you won't be able to get it. The flyer linked is really for TA's only. They switched back to 60% off 2nd and 4th pax early this week. As the fine print says...they can change whenever they want.
  7. After spending a fair amount of time on E class ships, I can honestly say I 100% do not understand this one. Seems like maybe one vocal CC'er got stuck in a chair and then it became the popular thing to gripe about?
  8. No, there is an All Included option and a Cruise Only option available for every class of stateroom up to CC level on every ship. AQ and suites have no Cruise Only rate by default.
  9. I haven't noticed any major staffing issues lately. If there are, they are doing a decent job covering it up. In regard to that review, if your only Celebrity experience is cruising with <1,000 people on near-maiden return to service sailing on E class or brand new ships (Beyond) where they bring on the best staff to open the ship, then you went on an almost full S class ship, you will definitely notice a different feel overall. It's not an even comparison.
  10. Yes, you technically can, but you would be paying prevailing rates and subject to whatever cancelation penalty your original booking is under. You can't just add on All Included benefits like it was a standalone purchase.
  11. This one? Just click the arrow next to the month and year.
  12. Any TA can run them for you and send you a spreadsheet with all of the details. You can also call Celebrity or go the mock booking route if you want to take the slow approach. There is no way to directly do it on the website.
  13. You really have to experience it for yourself. I've been on Edge a few times and Beyond once and really wonder if some of the comments I read are regarding the same ship. They are all over the place and a lot of them are a little over the top. Yes the ships are different but there is still quite a bit of consistency in certain things compared to S class ships. I sailed on Reflection in April, Beyond in May, Reflection again in September and Beyond again after that. The April Reflection cruise was underwhelming overall but I don't think it had anything to do with the ship itself but from here on out I would very likely choose E over S class every time. Just try it!
  14. Give it some time. Virgin's 2 ships with minimal port stops compared to Celebrity's 15 spread all over the world makes things a little more complex for Celebrity.
  15. The reps are clueless or like to pretend to be clueless just to get people off the phones. Supervisors aren't any better. You can find all of the airlines travel agent/third party change rules online, but FBC loves to throw around the 'check back in 30 days' and ignore what the airline rules are. I just had a situation where they tried to charge $8,000 to accommodate a schedule change and they acted like it was no big deal. Simply pay the $8,000 and everything is fine. They will also resubmit your initial request when you call to follow up which puts it back at the bottom of the pile.
  16. This can very easily be done. It doesn't take schmoozing and begging. You just have to book a cabin that connects with the suite.
  17. There are a few options to connect a suite with a suite and non-suite cabins on Beyond. On decks 7 through 11 there are category 11 inside cabins connect to S3 (Magic Carpet) Sky Suites on Beyond for exactly this purpose. On decks 8 and 9 there is also a S2 connected to the S3. You can also do a Concierge or Aqua connected to a S3. Call a TA or Celebrity and they can look into it.
  18. The only items that would come with the RS would be in this list. The CS would only include priority luggage delivery. The premium beverage package and premium WiFi are no longer listed as an amenity of upper tier suites (RS and higher).
  19. The removed single supplement is actually not part of this 30% off promo. They don't have an end date published for when the single discount will go away.
  20. The current offer will be extended through August 10.
  21. I would suggest emailing the CEO and complaining they should do more to control the weather and sea conditions.
  22. They were rarely booked and added another layer of rates into the mix.
  23. One-category upgrade requests must be made at the time of booking and apply only for upgrades within the supercategory, depending on availability. Example of a super category upgrade in AquaClass: A2 to A1. Upgrades available from categories 11- A1 on all Celebrity ships except Galapagos voyages. For sailings departing prior to April 12, 2023: Captain's Club one-category upgrade excludes categories: 12, FV, SV, C1 and Z, Y, X, XC, XA, W. On Celebrity Edge categories 12, 9, 7, 6, IO, 1B, 1A, SV, ES, E1, C2, C1, A1 are also excluded. For sailings departing on or after April 12, 2023: Captain's Club one-category upgrade excludes categories: IS, ES, SV, SC, PO, DO, DI, DV and Z, Y, X, XC, XA, W.
  24. We’ve used them several times but I think people are over greatly over-estimating how much help they will be. You may know your bags last reported location. The airline will also know when it was scanned last. However if your bag is one of hundreds sitting somewhere delayed, you are not going to convince a single person to go look for your specific bags. Especially if your bags are in airport A and you are now in airport B.
  25. Eventually many companies, Celebrity included, are going to have to invest in more self-service options rather than call centers. The tech-leary crowd will have to learn to adjust. No one wants to get yelled at for 9 hours a day for $15 an hour.
