  1. I think those are coming to a crashing halt. Carnival seems to have all the passengers they need. And as much as Carnival needs me, I won't bother. I'm retired and loving it.
  2. WiFi calling is something else. Some cruise lines have been blocking. But WhatsApp, FB messaging, and others likely work.
  3. It works on every ship I've been on. I'll try it in the UK next month. Only one device is connected to ship wifi and the bandwidth is shared for that connection.
  4. Well, I do have a $25 offer 48-Hour Guests Sail From $25 Sale Sail 2 guests, bring up to 3 more guests from just $25 per person when we pick your interior room
  5. Ships don't get sick. But if there is problem on the ship, why didn't they get tested, ON the ship. Then the CDC would be notified. You can find covid just about everywhere - on land and at sea.
  6. I've never met a ship that didn't.
  7. So you want Carnival to add some rust to Luminosa?
  8. Has cruising even restarted in Australia? Why throw away money?
  9. Still waiting. Anyone? Anyone?
  10. I believe each person needs an account. I don't think appointments are need, but wait times can vary.
  11. I'd like to see scientific proof of that - otherwise it didn't happen.
  12. By the proper name - COVID-19.
  13. or maybe https://www.amazon.com/TenCloud-Anti-Slip-Silicone-Protector-Portable/dp/B07D6Q49LZ/ref=pd_lpo_3?pd_rd_i=B07D6Q49LZ&th=1
  14. Maybe these? https://www.amazon.com/Xmada-AirTag-Case-Clip-Apple/dp/B097ZXK9PB?th=1
  15. Perhaps not to those you infect, but more specifically, no, it most definitely isn't a cold. OR the flu.
  16. Nah. That's an energy drink. Makes for wide awake drunks.
  17. I don't get the unvaccinated part for anyone over 12. NCL has on their website: Mandatory Vaccinations Against Covid-19 All guests age twelve and over, as well as all crew, must be fully vaccinated at least 2 weeks prior to departure in order to board. While we welcome unvaccinated children under the age of 12 onboard, it is the responsibility of the guest to be aware of any local protocols and/or travel restrictions in place at the visiting destinations at the time of sailing. Local regulations may have booster requirements to enter certain countries – make sure to check Travel Requirements by Country to understand country specific requirements. https://www.ncl.com/travel-requirements-by-country
  18. Shipyards quickly filled with ships from all cruise lines. The shipyards were not immune to COVID and had enough problems of their own trying to stay open. It is impossible to defeat rust on a ship. Continual maintenance is required to just keep up with it. All cruise lines are suffering from a lack of staff.
  19. What was the outcome? Or was it just typically puffery and gaslighting by a few sue happy individuals? I know the ship headed off on the next cruise and don't remember hearing anything after that. Surely not everyone signed the offer.
  20. There was a thread not long ago - I believe on Carnival Magic - where crew were painting and so many people were complaining that I guess they stopped painting and even offered compensation. Carnival just can't please everyone.
