  1. They generally have a Captain's Club Elite and above Toast on the first Sea Day - If lot's aboard they have been known to have two. The usually have on in the Theater for all passengers and have Champagne when entering the theater.
  2. Just tried using Firefox and no problem. You might consider clearing cache
  3. Good luck. If a storm is imminent they usually offer no change fee options but like you were advised, they don't make the call until they are certain.
  4. If your using the Phillips Sonic Care - I have a travel charger but found recently that when I was away in August - September for 6 weeks it held the charge and never had to charge it even using 2x a day. I was amazed the battery lasted so long.
  5. Yes that was the cruise. We were due in the next day and the Captain was afraid their might be some retaliation from the gang. Incredible that at his age that he jumped into action like a 21 y.o. Makes you proud of our marines. I had finally talked Iain into doing a Zip Line. When the captain came over the PA - he said - There is a God. Never have been able to talk him into it again.
  6. It is normal that they only load place holders and they should be updated closer to your cruise. I can see all the menus for my cruise in 4 weeks. They should all be pretty accurate once onboard. You could also look up the same itinerary on the same ship in November. Celebrity has a 14 night rotation of menus and always start with day 1 regardless of the length of the cruise.
  7. Guess I will have to hold onto my seapass in 3 weeks. I usually loose/misplace it at least once a cruise.
  8. Charla - So happy your about to fire up a new chapter of Life at Sea with Charla. Looking forward to following along. I'm sure you have some new great outfits to debut for all of us.
  9. Interesting article from January where a man on a $200 ride got stuck in a huge mess for 9 hours. He left the driver a $100 tip and later found out his total bill was $700. He disputed and Uber refunded due to the terrible ordeal and assured him the driver's earnings would not be affected https://www.washingtonpost.com/transportation/2022/01/06/uber-interstate-95-andrew-peters-refund/
  10. They use to have a late disembarkation for a fee but have not reinstated since resumption of cruising. At almost all ports hast call is between 9:15-9:30. At that time they zero out the ship and start processing B2B's.
  11. I've had a really bad backup once due to an accident and like a taxi the charge starts going up from what was first quoted. I don't recall what the additional amount was for each 5 minutes but it was the same that they charge for Wait time.
  12. Laughing. My Grandmother in Tennessee use to make both sweet and unsweetened. I prefer unsweetened. I swear you cold stand a spoon up in the sweetened version
  13. That's what I do and never broken either a wine bottle or a Glass Jar.
  14. Sounds like Celebrity is making the right decision. That's where we were diverted when the Cancelled Costa Rica due to a RCL tour being hijacked and an 80 y.o. marine on the tour jumped the guy and broke his neck. We were due the next day and the Captain thought it best to cancel our stop there.
  15. The check in will verbally ask you the questions. Actually the do it again even when I fill it out on the app. You really don't need to do any of the Check In. It just makes checkin a minute or less shorter.
  16. Only suggestion is to look at the power on the device you are plugging in and make sure it says 110/220 V. Most electrical devices are now dual voltage but I did find an older Roku I had only had a 110 V adapter and if I had plugged it in would have fried my device. I usually just buy plug adapters for different countries I visit. These are my favorites
  17. You can normally only find Greek Yogurt in the Spa Cafe. It is not put out and you have to ask for it. They also always have both Regular and Greek in Retreat for the Breakfast Buffet
  18. Thanks for a fantastic Live post. Been enjoying the cruise from your eyes (and photos). Safe flight home.
  19. Yes.. You have to complete your qualifying cruise to hit Zenith or any level. If on a B2B stop by and talk to Captain's Club Host and they can verify and change your status on the 2nd cruise. It will take about 10-14 days after cruise for it to show up on their website.
  20. If you don't get a satisfactory response from CC I would contact the Engagement Center at 888-305-1427 they are also sometimes referred is Resolution Department. If you are booked with an Agent you might also get them involved or you Celebrity Cruise Planner.
  21. At embarkation suite guests can board at any time. There will be a separate entrance With a Big flag saying Suite Entrance - If at the new terminal you will be sent to an elevator where you will sit down in an airport lounge type area and an agent will come over and check you in. In any port where there is tendering and on disembarkation you go to Retreat and when a tender is available or when you wish to depart the Hosts will escort you down and taken to the front of the line. This is for all suite types.
  22. On my Cruise Planner - top line clicking my initials I select Order History - Shows the 2 oranges and I have the Premium
  23. They do have problems in IT. Many of my excursions have the wrong pictures. Also on the Website for Greenland they had pictures of sand beaches and palm trees.
  24. The app may not always be the best information. On our Iceland Cruise they showed on Day 3 were were going to be in Bermuda. hmmmm.. On all the cruises that I have had last minute changes I received both a text and an email showing both the original schedule and the revised next to each other, sometimes as close as the day before sailing --- and occasionally while we were at sea (then as a memo to the room from the Master).
