  1. It is near fully sold out. I'm showing only one cabin remains (9233) It's been coming and going and when someone is looking out it the cruise disappears.
  2. I purchased both the Liter Bottle of Liquor (no longer offered) as well as wine. The are delivered by the Bar Service on Embarkation Day. Usually you get a knock on the door and they are there with your gift. The wine can be consumed either in your room or you can have it sent to any restaurant.
  3. yes they do. If you had them as a perk prior to the change you still have them.
  4. That is such a good treat for crew members. I'm sure they enjoy them.
  5. Unfortunately no. They don't allow stacking discounts. Either / Or
  6. Jeannette - I pulled up a chair and will be following along. So sorry to hear of your dog's poor health. We had a wonderful Golden and I got way to close to him. After I had to put him down I was never able to replace him. I'm sure you know how Golden's attach to one person. Since Iain was away all the time He was my absolute shadow. Thoughts are with you.
  7. One thing I will say is they were really accommodating and would get anything we wanted from MDR and Blu. Our waiter would normally bring all 3 menus the day before and if we saw something of interest he would have the protein sent to Luminae and they would prep it. I just have a feeling the size of the E-Class and the airport type Retreat Lounge isn't a fit for us. My next cruises are back on S-Class. So far since January we have booked only 1 Celebrity Cruise - 2 Oceania and 2 on Cunard. I think we will be using our Double Zenith "Free" Cruise as a credit against our November TA instead of booking another Celebrity. For us Celebrity changes has made Zenith Worthless and their prices are out of control - Example - Our Oceania Cruise November 2025 Oceania Vista - Owner Suite $24,000 for 11 night Med. We couldn't resist- It's 2,100 Sq Ft We paid about that for a CS on the Singapore to Sydney (then they dropped the price $9,000 after final payment, which somewhat irritated us).
  8. Did you read the just released news story - Carnival Magic hit the pier today in high winds and did significant damage to the Pier. They were forced out to sea and had to leave passengers ashore. They later docked at another close by pier and shuttled the passengers that wee ashore to the new pier. There are a number of videos showing up on YouTube.
  9. Ahh.. would have been fun to see you again. After spending 9 weeks on E-Class ships this year (including Edge) I think we are done with E-Class ships. May just have been the end of the world cruise but I'm pretty sure we will never sail Edge again. It also may just have been the Chef they had in Luminae on our cruise, but was the worst food prep we have ever had. Many dishes the protein was not even luke warm on the inside served on piping hot plates. Food was even better in the OV.
  10. Maybe you can duct tape the bag to prevent ripping - vacuum pack and then remove the vacuum pack once inside the bag. LOL BTW do they still use the paper bags or use the cloth ones like in suites.
  11. That's good information. I presumed that was the case and almost had a problem once - My certificate was not in my Agent's name and they really gave me a tough time transferring it to my agent. They did make a "Courtesy" exception.
  12. Glad you enjoyed it. We were going to book it once and one of the Retreat Host's we have known for years said don't bother. We looked at he a bit shocked. She said I use to do the tour and will give you a private tour. Off we went and what a treat. At the end she presented us with the Photo Book which had been signed by the Retreat Manager and the whole team. What a memory. Later we tried to find all the art work in the photo book.
  13. Wonder if it has to do with length of cruise Mine are showing (20% discount) 15.99 - Solstice 17 Night TP 19.99 - Solstice 11 Night Hawaii 19.99 - Silhouette 13 Night TA 18.99 - Equinox 15 Night TA
  14. David what are those things on the table? --- At first I thought they were a cookie but surely they wouldn' be putting them on the table. Then I thought they were coasters but there are 9 of them.
  15. They have dropped them and have also discontinued the roving photographers and photographers at the ports. Now the have a couple Green Screens set up and and you select a background if you purchase a picture. They do have really expensive photo shoot packages.
  16. That's a really tough one to plan. University Spring break is all over the place. This site lists Spring Break Schedules https://www.inertiatours.com/spring-break-2024-dates/
  17. I have a beautiful black on black Versace Tuxedo that I've only worn once and really looking forward to wearing it. It is so comfortable I hardly feel I have a jacket on. OK --- I'm a rebel --- I doubt I will be wearing a Black Tie. I have about 30 to pick from.
  18. Of course -- when you are a small eater you must prioritize things. Do they have ice cream somewhere on the ship besides the restaurants.
  19. Definitely.... I was referencing reading on iPhone or TV the day before or morning of dining to see what was on the menu. I sometimes like to take a peek at deserts to figure out what I would order to leave enough room.
  20. Ahh wish you could join us.... We now have two booked. To me it seems like a steal. The one for October 2024 was only about $8,500 (for both of us) in Queens Grill. I would consider Queens Grill equivalent to SS. Princess Grill similar to Aqua. Understand your remark now. We will be pulling out our Tux as well as Sport Jackets for regular nights. It seems that Jackets and collared shirts are the norm for "casual" night - Black Tie or Dark Suite for Formal nights. The theme for the second formal night is Costume i.e. masked ball (Tux with a mask if you choose to participate).
  21. Honestly I've been on 6 cruises in the past year. On our Australia / New Zealand everyone was so casual we didn't bother with our regular Jacket and Bow Tie on Chic nights. I felt very well dressed with slacks and a Tommy Bahama shirt. Jeans or Chino's and a collared ***** (including a collard golf shirt) are kinda the norm. Not judging but seeing a rather large older man in Bib Overalls and a 5 gallon hat seemed a little too relaxed. He was asked to remove his hat - Points for the Maitre'd Remember - Dress Code as posted on Celebrity Site - Specialty Restaurants (Including Luminae for our Suite Class guests and Blu for our AquaClass® Guests) The dress code in Celebrity's Specialty Restaurants is Smart Casual for every night of your cruise. Evening Chic attire is only required in the main dining room on your “Evening Chic nights.”
  22. You must have been. We did Daniel B's first dinner and he both ran the show but also signed our books prior to presenting them. For some reason they don't know what to do with a male couple and we got two of them. The waiter told us to leave them and he would have them delivered to our room. As Charla said... they are heavy and we had to put on in our hand luggage. Charla- love the pictures. They definitely stepped up the presentation.
  23. I believe you can either call in and upgrade per-cruise or just wait until on the ship and just click a single button while creating your on-boar account.
  24. If you thank the Dress Code debate can be entertaining you should check out the Cunard board. I was chuckling reading a thread where there was a heated debate on whether it was ok in a hot climate to take off ones jacket while or after dancing. There's also a great 5 page long debate when someone asked if her husband would be ok in a light grey suite in lieu of a tuxedo. My mind went immediately Hyacinth Bucket of Keeping up Appearances. What can I say, I'm taking my first Cunard cruise in October.
